Number 7 is a young steer who lives in the same field as Faith the horse.
Took the picture of couple of days ago.
I thought he looked cute with the hay on his nose. : )

A rainy day this first day of December and we still have not had any measurable amount of snow. : ( It was 38 degrees when I started out on my walk all decked out in my rain gear.
Walked around town including the two cemeteries and the ball park loop. On rainy days I usually stay around town so if I get too wet I'm not far from home.
Not many people out and about this rainy morning but I did see the man running around the ball park loop. Still haven't learned his name. We have one sentence greetings when we pass and keep right on going.
The horses down by the Drane house didn't come over by the fence today to see me. Too busy eating. They belong to Farmer Marvin.
Today I walked 5.4 miles.
During the month of November I found 51 cents in coins. Not too bad.
1 quarter
2 dimes
6 pennies

The last couple of weeks we have been going bowling on Tuesday instead of Monday. We now go to the bowling alley in Oakland which is a lot closer. Games are $2 instead of $1 but we save more than that in gas!!
There were only three of us today and we met at 12:00 and had lunch there first and then bowled our three games.
My bowling as been improving over the last month and today I couldn't believe my scores. I'm sure it must be a fluke!! : ) I bowled a 138, 170, and 169. Always have fun bowling but when I do good it is even more fun. : )
It was also Mexican Train game night. We play once a month now at a different house each time. Tonight it was at Bettye's house and six of us met there to play. She made us a delicious supper of salad, spaghetti and meatballs, with garlic bread and a cherry cheese cake for dessert.
There are usually 8 of us but one couple has left for Florida for the winter and won't be back till April. They will be missed.
Well that's it for today.
Hope your day has been a happy one.
happyone : )

aww at the little calf
Good morning, I love the cute calf. Adorable photo. Wow, your bowling scores are wonderful. The dinner on game night sounds yummy, I am sure you all had a fun evening. I love the quote! Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
Karen, i want to thank you for your month of thankfulness posts. It was so thoughtful, and so helpful. It's good to be reminded that there's so much to be thankful for.
That sounds like a wonderful way to spend the day!
I enjoy bowling too, but don't do it much. I love how you have game nights. How fun! Is your Mexican Train group from your church? The dinner you had with your group sounds oh so good! Have a great day!
Sounds like a fun and productive day! 5.4 miles is a great walk. Love your photo of the cow. :)
Sounds like you are very busy. Your bowling scores really have improved.
Have a great day.
Way to go on your bowling scores. At this rate it won't be long until you break 200.
Your game days sound like a lot of fun and the dinner sounds wonderful too.
I like your quilted blog background.
Way to go, good bowler!
Wow! Your scores really have improved. Good going! Is there just one couple who are snowbirds? We have two sets of snowbirds in our circle, but they both wait until January.
He is handsome, even with hay on his nose. Glad your bowling score is improving.
