Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Day Seventeen of Thanks

Giving Thanks Day Post Seventeen
My House

I am thankful for my house.
The pellet stove that keeps my house cozy and warm
I am thankful for hot and running cold water
A nice kitchen for baking and cooking
A living room with a big window to watch the snow falling
A bed with with smell of line dried sheets
A front porch
A small enough house that is easy to keep clean
To look around it and see it decorated with the things that make me happy
That my house is a happy 'home'
A happy day to you.

Nice! Anytime I am cleaning my house and start thinking of complaining, I think how lucky I am to have a house to clean!

It's a lovely house and does look the perfect size. Never can have too much garage space.

I'm enjoying your 'thanksgiving' series. Your home looks lovely, just right for a couple and the occasional
visit from friends and family.

What a pretty home! I often love to run over in my mind all the blessings I have in my home. Thank you once again for reminding me.
