Picture is a bit blurry, but I liked seeing all the birds on the cattails.
Had to zoom in.

Started walking at 6:50 and it was 38 degrees outside and it was a cloudy morning. Walked all over town including both cemeteries and the ball park loop. After a windy day sometimes the flowers or flags that people put out by the graves get blown down or tangled and like today I untangle the flags and put the flowers back as I walk around.
A woman was out pushing a stroller and stopped and asked me if the road we were walking on went through to the cemetery. She said she sees me walking all over the place and knew I would know. : ) Hard to believe she didn't know, there are not that many streets in town!!
Looks like a snow fence loaded up on the trailer. Someone's getting ready for the snow.
Walked 5.5 miles.

Had a fun time last night and we were served breakfast for dinner. : ) It was the first time I've ever had Buckwheat Cakes and I thought they were good.Dessert was homemade apple pie with vanilla ice cream.
I wrapped up the Bible cover I bought for a friend and walked on over to the post office to mail it. On the way back I stopped in at Sherry's and made an appointment to get my hair done. She is going to layer it and put streaks in it to help me through the growing out phase of my gray hair.
I think my camera has taken its last picture. : ( I hit the button to turn it off which closes the lens. The lens went in but made a strange noise and now the camera won't turn on. Maybe Ken can fix it. If not, a new camera is in my future and I hope it is in the near future!
We are going to church later for the Fingerprint ministry. It from 5:00 to whenever. Ken and I will be working on the staple machines again.
Hope your day has been a happy one.
happyone : )
Faith is about doing.
You are how you act,
not just what you believe.

I always think of a broken camera as an opportunity to upgrade a bit. ;-) Hope you have a great weekend, and yes, I too am hoping we can meet in person some day. I feel certain that we will!
Hi Karen, sounds like you had a nice time at your friends house. Nice photo of the birds on the cattails.so sorry your camera pooped out. Hopefully Ken can fix it!
WOW! That's a LOT of birds on those cattails. Hope you can fix your camera :)
Hello, love the bird shot, there are a lot of them there. I hope you camera can be fixed, but a new one is good too. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
I've never heard of those kind of cakes
I've never heard of a snow fence before. :) I like your blog and will be back to read more.
Love the birds on the cattails! MJ
How interesting to see the birds congregated on the cattails. I wonder if they provide food for them.
I think it is so nice how you take the time to untangle flags and re-position flowers. I'm sure that small gesture would mean a lot to the loved ones. So often I think the world would be a better place if there were more people like you. This is one of those instances.
Sorry to hear about your camera, but a new one is always a bit exciting for us bloggers.
So sorry to hear about your camera. Does it operate with a battery?
Mitch Albom's quote reminds me of "Faith without works is dead." Also, "I'd rather see a sermon than hear one anyday."
Sorry about your camera. I thought mine was done too because the lid for where they batteries are wouldn't open. But some W-40, or whatever it's called did the trick, at least for now. Hope you can get it fixed.
I'm thinking of getting a new camera too. I hope you get one soon!
Great photo of the birds on the cattails.
Hope your camera is working again! Would hate to be not see your morning walks.
Buckwheat takes me back to my childhood! One of the towns held a Buckwheat Festival every year. My mom didn't drive, so my aunt always took us to the various festivals. Bob's Red Mill makes a Creamy Buckwheat cereal. I add other ingredients, nuts, brown sugar and a drizzle of maple syrup--yum!
Sorry about your camera, but it will be nice to have a new one. I finally just switched to using my phone. It takes terrible zoom-in photos, but otherwise, it's so handy. It puts my pictures right on my tablet, easy to upload without using any cables. Love that breakfast food!
