A wagon of pumpkins at Farmer Bill's Farm.
✿ ✿ ✿ ✿
Walked to the post office first to mail off a couple of Netflix then continued my walk around the Farm Loop. Farmer Bill was out and I stopped to say Hi. A few times when I looked up there were geese flying over head. They were all flying northwest.
Five deer were munching grass between the corn fields.
Once back to town I made a loop around the main part of town and then home.
Walking weather - 50 degrees with clouds and sun.
Sunrise - 6:41
Walked 5.3 miles.

Ken wasn't home when I got back, he was out with Edd having breakfast at Denny's and then to the weekly 'sale' in WV.I got some clothes hung out on the line and did a few other things around the house. Took my car out for a little spin on the windy roads. : )
I've taken pictures of the sunflowers outside in front of the dining room windows a number of times but here's one taken from inside. The morning sun filters in through the big leaves.
Went to the bank and the library - of course I walked there. : ) I love living in a small town and here's one of the reasons why. I walked into the library and Connie says, "Hi Karen, the last book you returned had your magnet book marker still in it." and she handed it to me. That just made my day. : ) I can't even imagine that happening where I used to live.
We are going to the wedding in a little while of Sarah and Joe from our church. You may remember I went to her shower a month or so ago. The wedding and reception are being held at our church.
Posting a bit earlier than usual today but that's been my day so far.
Hope your day is a good one and you smile often.
happyone : )

Those pumpkins definitely speak of fall.
Love the photo of the pumpkins. Too early though! You had another lovely day. Take care and have a good weekend.
Hello, neat shot of the pumpkins. And I love the geese in flight shot. Have fun at the wedding. I love the quote! Enjoy your weekend!
Your pictures are so pretty today. I'm excited about pumpkins!
I Just LOVE LOVE LOVE your pumpkin wagon!!!!
Nothing says fall more than wagon full of pumpkins! Beautiful pics!
The pumpkin photo is a beauty and a welcome sight to my summer weary eyes. I am looking forward to fall and the change in seasons.
Your library exchange with Connie made me smile. How nice to live in such a friendly place.
Hope you are having fun at the wedding.
Yay for pumpkins, especially on a truck like that. Great pictures! Neat story about living in a small town. Hope you had fun at the wedding.
Oh no!! Pumpkins! I'm not ready for summer to end. Love the little bun bun in the last post.
That is such a cool shot of the pumpkins. So bright and colourful. Love it.
That photo of your table with the window and sunflowers is just lovely -- peaceful. You're right about small town life. And the US is chock full of small towns, all living that slower, friendlier life, real community. I think a BIG city can have a touch of that in limited neighborhoods, if there is both residential and commercial mingled together. But all the largish cities -- bleh. Been there, and didn't like it.
Can you tell me where the town of Accident got its name? I was just speculating with my hubby about it. Did somebody have a wreck there, couldn't go further, built a cabin and stayed? haha :)
I love the photo of the pumpkins on the truck. Makes me think "autumn!"
Cozy scene at your dining room table. Love the pumpkins so much that I pinned them for my autumn folder. I already have a little tree in fog snagged from your blog. Love that one, too.
