Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another Monday

The moon at 5:45 this evening
☀     ☀     ☀     ☀
Above freezing yesterday but during the night every thing froze up and this morning it was snowing.  You know the routine by now - an inside walk.

By mid morning it was a sunny, but windy and in the 20's.  Really a beautiful day.  Nice to see the sunshine.

Washed the sheets and as I was making up the bed I thought that all these years we've been married I've always slept on the left side of the bed.  We tried switching sides one night but only lasted a couple of minutes before we were back on our normal sides.  Which side do you sleep on and has it always been the same?

This is the latest scarf I'm knitting - another ripple one.  This time just two colors, blue and yellow and I'm using cotton yarn.
This Monday was just like last Monday.  We left late afternoon and stopped in at the library, then went to Walmart, and on the way home stopped at Brenda's for pizza.  Did not come home with a black and white cookie this time though because I can bake my own. : )

Little baby Cohen is home, his lungs are still not clear but he is doing much better and should be fine.  Thanks for your prayers.

Hope your day has been a happy one and you smiled often.

you will find,

I told my husband a little while ago that I was hoping you were okay...missed seeing a post up from you yesterday. :) I believe tomorrow morning's forecast is about the same as this mornings. Icy conditions in the early morning, but we are to have a high in the 40's. It reached 37 here today. A beautiful day!

I had always slept on the right side until a couple of years ago when I broke my left femur. I moved to the left side of the bed to accommodate the left leg and have stayed there since! :)

I ran off a copy of your recipe for the Black and White's. I'm thinking Wednesday will be a wonderful day to bake cookies. :)

Have a great evening...oh...and your new scarf you've started on is beautiful!

Amazing photo of the moon early this morning. We actually got up to 40 degrees today. It was nice to see the sunshine. Mary Jo

Interesting observation you made while making the bed. I currently sleep on the right. If I think back I remember it used to be the left. Not really sure when or why it changed.
Your newest scarf is beautiful. As you might have guessed I love the color combination :).

I sleep on the left side of the bed. I can try the other side, but I don't... even when I am in my own bed. I have a king back home and I only sleep on the left side and throw all the pillows and extra blankets on the other side. Lol....

I would get in big trouble if I tried to get my wife's side of the bed! :-) Thank you for your kind comments on my blog. I tried to answer your question on today's post. Have a good day!

Pretty picture!

I've always slept on the side of the bed that was the furthest from the door.
Usually the left side.
I don't want the 'boogie-man' to get me first... ***heehee**. I want my hubby to stop him, or slow him down so that I can get away...****smile**.

Have a happy day!

Had to come back by and let you know that I tried out the Black and Whites today...wow...what a cookie! I used my 1/4 cup stainless steel measuring cup as my "scoop" and it worked out perfectly...seven, just like yours. :) Most of them are wrapped and in the freezer for my husband's lunch box.:)

I sleep on the right, always have. 39+ years.

I always sleep on the right and have most if not all of our marriage - UNLESS we stay in a hotel, where the left is mashed up against a wall, in which case I graciously "allow" my spouse to take the side with more room - but I never sleep as well being on the left side.
