A picture from yesterday's walk.

Back to the basement this morning for walking. Got my 6 miles in during the day. It was 7 degrees with snow flurries but by mid morning the sun was out though it stayed very cold all day.Went food shopping at Walmart this morning. Didn't see any one we knew this time which is rare indeed.
I took apart the last puzzle and though I haven't started the next one yet this one is next in line. It will be number 6 for this year.
Finished the ripple scarf this afternoon. Here I am modeling it. It is for a friend who I hope to meet one day soon. : ) If you'd like see the pattern click HERE.
I've started another one in blue and yellow.
Thanks every one for the prayers for little Cohen. I haven't heard anything but will let you know when I do.
Hope you had a nice Friday and you smiled often.
happyone : )

Like the scarf! Several scarves have been produced around here this year too.
You do very nice work! That is a very lovely scarf! Is there a warming trend in your weather predicted next week? We expect rain for the first part, and it will be warm enough to wash our snow away.
Your scarf turned out so nice. I love all of the colors together. You look so cute and happy modeling it. I know your friend will be happy to receive it.
I can see I have missed a post as I don't know about Cohen. I am going back now to see what I've missed. Glad to know that your mom's breathing has improved. Keeping her in my prayers.
Oh my goodness that's a lot of snow in your top picture! Simply beautiful! I really like the scarf. It looks so nice and warm!
What a lovely scarf! You do such beautiful work. I went to Morgantown today to see my mom and they barely have any snow compared to ours. :) Have a great weekend!
LOVE the scarf. And you are so pretty!
Pretty scarf, you look pretty modeling it.. I am glad your mom is improving..Have a happy weekend!
Such great quotes you have both today and yesterday. I love them! That scarf is beautiful. You are so talented! I love the snow scenes. Enjoy your weekend!
I just love the scarf you made. I have never been good at knitting. I crochet very well but I do think the finished knitted product is nicer.
It looks bitter and cold there, just like here.
Add to your resume: Model of hand-knitted scarves. Great job! My daughter Deana has requested that you post a couple of pictures of Ken's train lay-out on Facebook. I told her about your blog, but still think Facebook would be good. Keep on keeping on. Mary Jo
The scarf looks great and attractive on you. Nice work! As often happens, your first photo reminds me of a postcard scene ... nice work again! :-)
Thanks for the update on your mother.
Your scarf is beautiful.
Wonderful scarf for a friend you haven't met yet. Guess that leaves me out. I like the way you used that variegated section for even more interest. Hope that you've made kne for yourself because you look great wearing it.
Your friend will be warmed inside and out with the beautiful scarf. I hadn't read that quote from Corrie Ten Boom. Thanks for sharing it. Such wisdom.
