Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

No Fear

We all are afraid of something but God tells us we don't have anything to fear.

II Timothy 1:7
For God hath NOT given us the spirit of fear;
but of POWER, and of LOVE, and of a sound mind.

Psalm 56:3 & 4
What time I am afraid,
I will trust in thee.
In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded thee?
Be strong and of good courage;
be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed:
for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Three things to do when you are afraid.
  1. Trust in God
  2. Obey God
  3. Pray
May you all have a blessed Sunday free from fear.

Much needed, thank you for sharing! Seems the older I get, the more I worry and fear. Aren't we blessed to have a God who knows and cares? Have a blessed New Year!!

So often I have to turn to scripture to find comfort from fear. This was a lovely reminder.
