Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Fun in the snow : )

It was 8 degrees below zero this morning so I decided to take another walk in the basement.  No music today, learned a bit more of a Bible verse.

After breakfast the sun came out and it went all the up to 0 so we decided to bundle up and go outside.  Ken had fun with the snow blower clearing off our driveway.  He saw our neighbor across the street clearing her driveway with a shovel so he went over and did their driveway too. : )

I shoveled a path to the bird feeders and put more seed out for them and I notice we now have two squirrels.

Looking at all this never before walked in snow made me want to walk in it. : )
I made a smiley face in the snow, though it looks more like a grimace.
Then I wrote HAPPY 1 in the snow.  Didn't have room for the ONE so made the number.
Couldn't see it in a picture very well so Ken went and got the big step ladder and took the picture.
I had a little swing on the swing.
And then of course I had to make a Snow Angel. : )

When we finally came in the house it was already lunch time.  Snow sure is pretty but it is lots of fun too. : )

We are all set to record the next round of snow.
If you have snow, hope you got to go out and enjoy it today too.  If you do you might even get to like Winter. : )

This afternoon I've been doing a little counted cross stitch and later we are going to go out to eat at The Santa Fe, a Mexican restaurant over in the next town.

A happy day to you my friends.

I love the photos of you having fun in the snow.

I don't like the negative aspects of snow but I do see the beauty in it.

Oh how much fun you all had…. I'd be right there with you making smiley faces and snow angels. Love it..

We did get some snow --but only about 2 inches MAX --so it wasn't deep enough to play in.. But--I liked it since it was the kind of snow I love --that clings to everything.

You do have a fabulous hubby. Nice of him to get some photos for you… AND--it was really nice that he helped the neighbor…

Hugs,
Betsy

Cute post! Enjoy all of the pictures from up your way. If I lived there I would love to be your neighbor on drive way shoveling day!

How nice of Ken to clear the neighbor's driveway. No doubt that was very much appreciated.
You two sure do know how to have fun. Maybe if I spent the day with you I'd enjoy winter weather. :).
We haven't even seen one snowflake here, but it is cold.

Great fun in the snow today for you! I have never made a snow angel.:( Never thought about it the few times we have had enough snow in the past.

If "Happyone" wasn't your nickname, I'd say "Kid at heart" would be a great alternative! ;-)

Love love your snow pictures! We have a chance of snow and sleet here tonight. I'll be very surprised if there is any accumulation though.
