I have walked 3 miles down in the basement though. I put on some Christmas carols and away I went. I'll do the other 3 miles later on. I know, I know I'm crazy. : )
It was another snowy drive to church this week. Church is just down the road here a few blocks.

On the way home from church we stopped at Brenda's for lunch. I never get a dessert because I'm always too full. So today I had dessert for lunch. It's pastry filled with apples. I know a bad thing to eat for lunch but it sure was good.
I took this picture looking out the window from our table at Brenda's.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour,
which is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:11
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Luke 19:10
Jesus was not born simply to be an educator, a miracle worker, a political reformer, or example but to be our personal Saviour. To save us from Sin, God's Judgement, and from Hell.
My heart is filled with Joy to have Jesus as my personal Saviour. I hope that is true for you too. : )
A blessed Sunday to you my friends.

I have great admiration for you and your taking a daily walk. Not crazy at all.
The apple dessert looks good enough to eat. ;-)
Now that is my kind of Lunch! YUM-O!!!
Really like your comment about Jesus. He is all those things and more. Thanks for saying so. The snow is beautiful. Mary Jo
VERY snowy here, and we had the children's' cantata at church today, followed by a skating party. Christmas must be coming
Amen to what you said about Jesus..He is truly our Saviour! I love the snowy pictures and good for you for walking in your basement. I love you commitment! Enjoy the week ahead.
Amen!
Now I just love that you went with the dessert for lunch. I know that that is a rare treat!
Man, I should be living out there. There is practically nothing here. And I love wintery weather. Oh well, I don't have a family that would move with me! :-) I will just have to enjoy your experience through this blog.
I love the picture of that snowy drive - absolutely breathtaking! And that dessert looks amazing :)
I think it was a perfect lunch for a snowy Sunday. Life is meant to be enjoyed!
