Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A little chilly : )

Psalm 75:1
Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks,
unto thee do we give thanks:
for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

Psalm 92:1
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord,
and to sing praises unto thy name,
O most High.

We did get a little snow last night and it was just a bit cold too.  As you can see by the thermometer it was only 12 degrees.  I did walk my 6 miles and in all my layers I was nice and warm - really!! : )
Started out going to church in the truck but the emergency brake froze so we had to take Ken's Corvette.  Right after I took this picture we had a slippery slide time of it but Ken managed (with God's help) to keep the car on the road and we continued the rest of the way. : )
A blessed Sunday to you all.

I'm glad Ken had control of the Corvette. Did the car slide? Will it be hard to have the brake repaired?

The wind made it really hard for me to walk far today. We had wind gusts of 20-30 mph! Brrrr. I hope you stay warm!

It was slippery this morning! I'm glad that Ken was able to keep it between the poles. It looks like a rough weather week for us. This wind is vicious...brrrrrr Keep warm now!

You are to be commended for walking 6 miles *any* day but especially when it is so cold!

Your snow scenes are very pretty. Glad you two managed okay in the 'vette.

Brrr....driving in the snow is one reason we moved to Arizona...but really, I do miss the snow every now and then. So glad you got to church safely!
