There was another farm at the end of the road and there I saw a cow, a chicken and a llama together in a penned area and snapped their picture. I really liked the picture so I ended up putting it on my photo blog. For those of you who don't follow that blog and care to take a look at it, it is HERE. As I was taking their picture the farm dog came along and ran me off so I probably won't stop for any more pictures there!
Just a couple more pictures I took walking along.
After walking to the end of Spear I turned around and walked back home. It would have been too far if I had walked all of the farm route too.
A farmer driving by in a white pick up truck asked me if I needed a ride, but he asked me in a unique way. He said, "Are you out exercising or could use a couple of steps in the truck to work?" I said, "No thanks, I'm out exercising and enjoying the morning."
I walked 6.6 miles - 12,726 steps.

We went out this morning to the Produce/Candy store and got Halloween candy. We were told that lots of kids come by so we are prepared. Also got a nice big pumpkin that is now sitting on the front porch. I also got a few strange looking gourds and have put them in the boxes that I've put in the foyer. I thought about what Vee and Deb said about putting seasonal decorations in the boxes and have decided to do just that. When I finish putting the fall things in it, I'll post another picture. I never decorate for the seasons (except Christmas) so this will be fun and new for me. All because of blogging!!! : )
This evening we will once again try to go to a demolition derby. The other two times it has been rained out. BUT today is another beautiful day and O% change of rain so we just might get to see one tonight.
Hope your Friday is a happyone.

I am absolutely loving that fall foilage in these pics. Quite beautiful! I can't wait til' the leaves start turning here :)
A Llama? Wow, that is so cool. You see the most interesting things on your walks.
I think your boxes will look really cute decorated for fall and will also make a nice welcome in the entrance of your home.
Hope you have better luck with the derby this time.
Sounds as if you have a new, fun adventure every single day. Well, all except for the farmyard dog. Yikes! Don't forget that we want to see the boxes decorated for fall.
I love the picture of the farm animal friends. I get your new entry way boxes will look oh so festive. The demolition derby really sounds like a fun Friday night date! Enjoy!
You see the most interesting things on your walks. The photos are beautiful!
What a very nice way of the Farmer to ask if you needed a ride...or not. Love the way he said that.
Have you ever seen a "swan neck" gourd? We saw some in a roadside stand on the way back from Cape May. They are pretty neat!
