Along one of the roads I walk there is a little building with a sign on it that says Chlorine. Not sure what it is for.
The cows were nowhere to be seen today. It's nice that they have such a large area to live in that they can just disappear where I can't even see them.
I am so thankful for the beautiful area I live in and for being able to take a walk every morning. : )
I walked 6.3 miles - 12,462 steps.

We had a some bananas that were too brown to eat and I did what a lot of people do when that happens, I made banana bread. I have a cookbook I bought a while ago but have never made anything in it until today. Looked up the Banana Bread recipe in it. The recipe called for a jar of maraschino cherries. I didn't have any but I did have some strawberries so I added them instead. It turned out quite well. I ate that piece you see cut in the picture. The recipe is HERE if you would like see it.I'll just eat a little less chili for supper or maybe not any chips with it. : )
Hope you are enjoying your day and that you smiled often.

Great idea to add strawberries to that bread! I'm sure it made for a very tasty snack.
Yum!
Strawberry banana bread? Ohhhh that sounds delish. Walking in cooler temps sounds wonderful, too.
That bread really looks good! Your nice cool temps sound so nice. I am getting tired of Arizona summer. A bit of autumn would be nice. See you tomorrow.
Looks good with all the pictures!
I love the silos in the distance on that farm :)
I would imagine strawberries would taste very good in the banana bread! I certainly would never have thought to add them.
Looks like a beautiful place for your walk. It would be fun to see cows on a regular basis. Your blog header image tickles me!

My mouth is watering. I have a friend who despises both bananas and strawberries (how could anyone) so I will have to jokingly tell him that I will bake him some of your bread. Art
