My cow friend came down to see me today. As you can see she is number 29. She never moved when I put the camera right up to her.
Most of the farmers here roll up their hay but I noticed this farm still makes the regular rectangle bail hay. These are not as impressive but I still like to see them all sitting in the field.
Saw the first leaves turning color here already on a couple of trees.
I walk down the main street for a mile before turning up to the farm roads. I'm starting to see the same cars and trucks go by and quite a few people wave or toot to me now on their way to work.Always enjoy my morning walks.
I walked 6.3 miles - 12,191 steps.

When I got back home from walking Ken had a little surprise for me. He installed the new faucet in my bathroom while I was gone. OLD |

I'm out of my bad mood now though. : ) I got out of my painting clothes, had a hug from Kenny and got an email from my friend Mary Jo with some good news. A week from Saturday she is coming for the weekend. Our first house guest. : ) I am so excited that she will be here!!
On that happy note I'll end this post.
Hope your day is a good one.

OE - Thanks for the insight but I still don't like it. : )

Love your Cow Friend!!
and what a coincidence - we used to have the same faucets - and we replaced them with the same faucet you replaced yours with. I guess we think alike :)
How nice for you to have friends coming to visit!!
Cows are such curious animals! Cute picture.
How exciting to have Mary Jo come to visit!
Sending you the best with that painting project!
I like the new faucet a lot. It has more pizazz. My bathroom faucet is like your old one. I'm sure that John would not be impressed if I suggested a change for no other reason than aesthetics, but it is the little things after all.
Take it slow painting and it'll get done in good time for Mary's arrival. That's going to be a lot of fun for you all! (I never feel like painting so I hear you about that. I hate it all the time.)
Love that picture of your cow friend.
Oh yes, the new faucet is much nicer.
I give you credit for even starting the painting job when your heart wasn't in it. I think it will go better for you next time. At least that's the way it seems to work for me.
How fun to be anticipating your house guest.
So fun to be having a guest come! Painting can be a bit job. It's good you decided to put it aside until another day. Glad you were able to stop, rest and get into a better mood :-)
Enjoy the rest of today and I'll see you tomorrow!
Sometimes it is not the painting at all...it is underlying and we just can't make it come to surface...it's nice Ken was there to give you a hug, I have needed many lately....but sometimes he does not even know how bad my heart hurts. Love you Karen...
I was wondering last night when you mentioned changing that dark mauve color to yellow... Once you get 2-3 coats on the wall, it should be fine. Painting is something you have to 'enjoy' doing... I personally don't enjoy it! ha
Hugs,
Betsy
#29 is not shy at all lol. Quite adorable. And I don't often see rectangular hay bales around here...it's usually the circular kind.
Your new faucet looks just like ones I recently installed in our bathroom. Good you stopped painting and finished later.
