At the County Fair

A few degrees warmer this morning at 55.  A mixture of sun and clouds as I walked around town on my one and only mapped out route.  I like having a route mapped out because then I can just walk and enjoy what I'm seeing instead of thinking about where I should walk next!  I'll eventually have a few routes to choose from.  It is kind of hard finding new routes though because there are just so many roads around here.  I could get in the car and drive to one of the parks but I like just walking out the door.  The walks at the parks will be extra walks. : )

A man stopped and asked for directions this morning.  I watched him go up and down the road a couple of times and then he stopped to ask me.  He wanted to know how to get back to Baltimore!!

I saw the woman from yesterday walking again, still listening to her music.

I found another penny.  : )
I walked 6 miles and took 11,517 steps.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I got back to my Body Electric exercise today.  I'm sure I'll be a bit sore tomorrow!  Still looking for that one CD and I've pretty much run out of places to look.  There are a couple of other things that I can't find and I'll probably find all them in the same place but who knows when!
The county fair/carnival is being held this week and this afternoon after lunch we went to the fair grounds and spent four and half hours there.
 I liked looking at all the animals.
There were also horses, goats, and cows.  We sat on bleachers for a while and watched young people lead pigs around while they were judged.  That was a first for us. : )
There were also exhibit buildings where people entered things they had grown or made.  There were also quilts to admire.
There was a section where you could enter photographs.  I'm thinking maybe next year I'll enter a picture or two of my own.
The carnival part of the fair, had all kinds of food, rides and games.
It was a cloudy day which was actually nice because it didn't get too hot.  We had a fun time and I got a lot of extra steps today walking around.  We are going to go back again on Saturday in the evening to watch the demolition derby.
Hope you got to do something fun today too.
Some work at HT
50 degrees this morning and a sunny one.  Another walk around town.
I saw one woman walking around one of the cemeteries.  She was wearing headphones and didn't say anything.
I saw a blue bird, lots of rabbits, and a ground hog.  There were a lot of crows around too.
It was a quiet and peaceful and so beautiful to be out walking early in the morning.
Oh and I found a penny.  That doesn't happen very often around here.
Walked 6 miles which was 11,536 steps today.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 I went with Ken up to Happy Trails this morning and we cut down lots of trees that were hanging over the driveway.  We worked till lunch time but didn't quite finish and didn't feel like going back after lunch. We had to get it cleared out quite high because we are going to take the travel trailer down to the house and sell it.  Don't need it anymore since we live just a couple of miles away.

After lunch I walked over to see my new hairstylist Sheri.  That too is just down the street - only .2 of a mile!!  I gave Sheri the instructions that Cheryl gave me for my hair color so she could order the stuff.  She said it would be here next week and I made an appointment for next week Thursday.  I'm long over due and my roots are really showing.  I'll have to wear my ball cap around! : )  Sheri has a little place and she is the only hairstylist there and works Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Today I met a Mrs Alexander, an older lady who lives in town.  We all had a nice chat while she was getting a permanent.

I've looked once again for that Body Electric CD and still can't find the one I want.  I did find another one though so I can get started again.  Didn't today though but will tomorrow!!!  I will!  I will!

I washed the sheets today and still have to put them back on the bed so I'd better go and do that.   I like to take them right off the line and right on the bed.  : )

We are going to eat supper at Ledo's later so no cooking today.

Hope your Tuesday is happy with lots of sunshine.

Deb - I've mentioned Cheryl quite a lot on my blog.  She is a very good friend of mine, who I met through blogging.  You can read about our meeting HERE.  She is (was) my hair stylist.  She has said many times that she would come to visit us at the new house so we just started calling the spare room her room. : )

Vee - Yes, we thought we would be moving in the end of the month.  Sure glad we went early!!!!

One chicken

It was a cool 49 degrees but sunny when I started my morning walk around town.  I walked my mapped out route today.  The picture is taken one block away and up the hill from my house.

I didn't see any people out walking or running but did see a deer running down the side of the road.  It was on the main road and cars were driving by so I was glad to see him turn and go back into the woods instead of across the street.

Most days now I see a town worker drive by in the town pick truck and he waves to me each morning.  He drives around just checking things out around town.  I see him a few times during my walk.

When I started walking around here I passed by 4 chickens and a rooster.  They have slowly died off and now this is the only one left.  She always clucks at me when I say Good Morning to her.  I wonder if she is lonely all by herself.
It was nice being out walking in the cool weather.
I walked 6 miles and my steps were 11,242.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We walked to the bank this morning and that too is close to the house - only .3 mile away!!
I put the old school desk in the corner by the bookcase.  Seemed a perfect spot for it.
Ken left after lunch to go up to Happy Trails to do a little work up there in the tractor barn.  Soon the tractor will be able to actually fit in there again!!
I decided to stay home and get a little house work done.  We are pretty much settled in now and can just relax a bit and do some projects here and there when we feel like it.  I still have to get the spare room done.  We have started calling it Cheryl's Room.  :)
I haven't done my Body Electric CD since we've moved and need to get that started again BUT I can't find it. Sure hope it shows up.  I recorded some shows many years ago on PBS.  Some of her shows are still on but not around here.  I know you can buy some of her CD's but they aren't the same as her show was.  I can probably do the exercises from memory but it's not the same without her.  Oh well, I'll just have to keep searching.
It is so nice to have a front porch again.  I really missed it at the town house.  That's where I'm headed now.  On the porch to do some reading. : )
Hope your Monday is a happy one.
Sunday
We limit God's power when we depend on our own.
II Corinthians 12:9
He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you,
for My power is made perfect in weakness.
Checked out the little country church up the road from where we live.  Though it was a very nice friendly church and we did sing some of the old hymns that I love, I feel that this too is not the church that God has picked out for us.  It was VERY small and everyone was about the same age.  As old or older then we are.  There were no young people or children about and it just felt strange.   So next week we will be off to another one.
I'm enjoying sitting out on the front porch this afternoon doing a little reading.
Here's what I get to look at.
Hope you get to enjoy a nice relaxing Sunday.
A new picture
60 degrees and the sun was out with lots of white puffy clouds when I started my walk this morning.  But the clouds soon took over and the blue disappeared.
Just walked here and there around town and up and down the main road.  Up one of the side roads I discovered a little apartment complex with about 10 apartments.
Up this road here is where we dumped the tree branches we trimmed the other day.  It is at the back of a little park.
I saw a couple of young people running and a woman walking a dog.  All were too far away to talk to.
Saw the usual rabbits.  One thing I don't see a lot of here are squirrels.  I saw one this morning and it was a little thing and had a red tinge to him and the tail was very thin and scrawny.
I walked 5.3 miles and took 10,381 steps.
***************************************
We enjoyed the pancakes I made for breakfast this morning sitting in the dining room looking out the window at our front yard.  So nice!! : )
There is one big wall in the dining room that is on the stairs leading down to the basement that needs a nice big picture on it.
 We took a drive down to LaVale which is next to Cumberland and looked in a couple of furniture stores to see if we could find something to put there.  Also looking for something to put under the television.  Didn't find that, but we did find a picture for that big blank wall.  We liked it right away and thought it fit in with our surroundings here.  I thought it might look a little too hunter lodge but like it anyway.
Mama bear and her three cubs, Joey, Petey and Jane.
You will have to click on it to see the detail.
While we were out we wondered if there was a Wendy's around so we put it to the GPS and it found one, so we followed what she said and ended up at a dead end road by a trailer that said your destination is on the right.  Ah no I don't think so.  We never did find a Wendy's but did find a Chick-Fil-A.
After breakfast I browned some pork chops and then put them in the crock pot with some barbecue sauce to cook all day. Then supper time I just had to make mashed potatoes, gravy and peas.
It was a no work day for us and it was nice to enjoy a day off.
Tomorrow we try out another church.  This one is just 3 miles down the road from us and it's a very small one.  I'll let you know how it goes.
Hope you enjoyed your Saturday.
Deb - I've put my white planter collection up on top of the book cases.  I've collected them for a while.  Each one cost under $10 dollars.  I used to have many more in different colors but sized the collection down to just white ones.
TheFurryGnome - That interesting plate collection is FiestaWare.  I collect the 6 original colors.  They are our every day dishes.  I guess I am organized because I like things neat and tidy.  It makes me happy. : )
All done
Another morning just like yesterday - cool and sunny.  Today a thermometer is out on the deck so I knew it was 50 degrees. : )
Walked toward HP today but turned around when I got to the part that I had to walk up the mountain.  I went back to the main road and then walked along there for a while.  I clocked the whole of the main street from one welcome sign to the other and it was 1.2 miles.
Didn't see anyone else out this morning.
The weather was beautiful for walking or for doing anything.  I love these mornings.
I walked 6 miles and took 11,823 to do it.
***********************************
After doing a couple loads of laundry and having breakfast I started right in on the books.  And guess what!!?  We found the pins for the shelves, the little knobs for the doors and the screws.  They were in the very last tote we opened which had some of Ken's railroad stuff in it.  We hadn't opened the packages we bought at Lowe's so will be able to take them back.
I put the shelves in and got all the books on the shelves in order.  The fiction and non fiction are alphabetical by author.  The bigger coffee table books are sorted roughly by subject.  I have three whole shelves with books to read!!  Ken helped me put the doors on.  I am so happy to have all my books back on the shelves where they belong.  It took me until 2:00 this afternoon.
Here's a picture of the book shelves and you can see how they fit there perfectly, just like we measured and bought them for that spot.  What good luck!!! : )
I took a couple of pictures of the dining room too.  I took pictures from opposite corners.  There are two of 6 chairs around the table.  These are blue but will be painted black one of these days.  I just cleaned up two so we could eat supper in the dining room this evening.
Ken has supper duty tonight.  He's making us a stir fry.  Healthy and delicious.
Every day at noon you can hear the church at the beginning of town play their church bells.  It is so nice in the middle of the day to stop and listen to the hymn.  I've heard Rock of Ages, What a Friend We Have in Jesus, Abide in Me, and one I didn't know.
Ken has been down in the basement all day getting his train stuff all sorted out.  Who knows maybe he will build another train layout this winter.
Mid afternoon we took a break and sat out on the front porch and had some watermelon.  It was the perfect afternoon for doing just that.
Hope your day is a happy one.
Happy Birthday to my mom today.  She won't mind me saying she is 83 years old.
Lots of books
It was quite cool this morning.  My guess would be that it was 49 or 50 degrees and there was no rain today.  A very pleasant walk in the sun.  We got the thermometer from Happy Trails today so tomorrow I'll know for sure what the temperature is.
 Some pretty flowers I passed along the way.
I didn't walk the route I mapped out but just walked around town a bit and then along the main road in both directions.
There were lots of rabbits around again and I saw a few cardinals too.
I saw a couple of people walking, a runner, and a woman walking two dogs.  I passed by a house where two women were setting up for a garage sale and I just walked right on by without even looking at anything.  I certainly don't need to bring anything else into this house!!!  : )
I walked 6 miles and today that was 11,602 steps.
*************************************
Pretty blue skies today.
 It's been another busy day here for us.  We trimmed trees around the shed out in the back yard and loaded all the branches and clipping into the back of the truck.  We had a FULL load which we took to a place in town where they collect branches and limbs in one pile and in another big pile grass clippings.  When the pile gets big enough the park people burn it.  It is only two blocks from our house and we were the only people there the whole time we unloaded.
We put a dining room table in the dining room after painting the bottom of it black.  It is the same table that I had in my loft at the old house which I had painted pink.  The top of the table is stained a light color.  The table has been dark stain, blue, white, pink and now black.  We've had the table a good many years.   No chairs in yet because we are going to paint them black too.
We never did find the pins for the book shelves but do have the book cases in place now.  Still have to put the shelves in and the doors on.  We got all the books out of the upper shed at HT and now they are sitting all over the place in the library and dining room while as I sort them and put them in order.  I put all my books in alphabetical order and separate fiction and non fiction.  We also have a lot of coffee table books and I try to put them in subject order.  Then there are children books and my collection of Nancy Drew, Bobbsey Twins, and Honey Bunch.  Maybe by the end of tomorrow they will all be on the shelves.
Since we worked hard today we thought we deserved to go out to eat.  We stopped in at a place near the water that advertised the best burgers at the lake, but we both didn't really care for the looks of the place so we left and ended up going to UNO's for a burger.  After eating we walked down by the water.
So now we are home once again and I still have clothes to fold and maybe I'll work a little more on those books till ice cream time.
Hope you're day has been a good one.
Vee - Yes, John was right, the grass was a bit long.  I should have had the grass catcher on the mower.  I didn't rake it though.  Next time I mow I'll use the grass catcher.
I don't know what kind of trees they are.  Two kinds are mixed in.  One looks like a regular Christmas trees and the others have very long needles that hang like curtains.  They are so pretty.
Betsy -  Oh yes, I'm getting used to the appliances at the house.  The fridge is a big one and we are thinking of selling it and getting a smaller one.  The stove is a bit dated but it works great.  There is a dishwasher but haven't used it and don't plan on it.  When we get our new counter tops we will get rid of it.
Fun on the mower
Another misty morning and a cool one too.  I didn't bother with an umbrella because I wore my sweatshirt with a hood and when it rained I just put up my hood.  At one point I saw peeks of sun but then it hid behind the clouds again and it rained.  But still it was nice to be out walking.  I have to get a new thermometer - had no idea what the temperature was.
I walked down the main road today in one direction and then came back, passed up the house and went down the other direction before turning around again.
 A barn I passed along the way.
Ken had left to go for his bagel and coffee while I was walking and gave me a toot as he passed by me in the car.
I made a couple of loops around the path by the ball field and then came home.
I walked 6 miles which was 11,144 steps.
************************************
All the  big things are moved into the house and now there are just some boxes with odds and ends in them.  We can't seem to find the pins to put in the book shelves which hold the shelves in so still can't put the books in them.
I've been putting some things aside that I just don't want any more and wonder why we even bring them with us.  I say donate them to a charity but Ken would like to have a garage sale.  I told him not I, it will be YOUR garage sale.  I'm going out that day.  I really dislike having garage sales.  He is fine with that.
Things are still not in order around the house though a lot has been done.  Pictures still need to be hung up on the walls and the spare room down stairs is still a mess.  I've just dumped things in there for now while I decide where I want to put them.
Ken left for HP on his own this morning to go through some things that are still there while I stayed home putting a few more things in order.
After lunch we went out and bought some more of those shelve pins for the book  shelves and now probably tomorrow we will find them.
Here's a few pictures of me and the lawn mower. : )
 I didn't know that Ken took a video of me too though it is a bit blurry.   I'm learning how to turn the thing around here and it was so funny.  I felt like I was on a carnival ride. : )
Supper tonight was baked ziti.  I made enough for two meals.  One to eat and one to freeze.
The weather turned out delightful.  Sunny and 70 degrees with a breeze.
So that's it for today.
Hope you enjoyed your day.
Mowing the lawn
I had to take along my umbrella this morning on my walk.  There was a misty rain that came and went so my umbrella went up and down for the first few miles.  Then the rain  stopped altogether and I could see a few breaks in the clouds and finally some patches of blue.  It was cooler than it has been too.
I walked my town route and I saw one other person.  She was on the other side of the road so I didn't meet her yet.
Geese, rabbits, deer and a green heron were what I saw out there today and a couple of ponies that live a couple of blocks away from me.
 I walked 6.1 miles and that was 11,419 steps.
**************************************
The kitchen cabinets here had no knobs or pulls for the drawers and cabinets and this morning we put most of them on. We guessed at the number we needed the other day when we bought them and were a bit short so we'll have to go back and buy some more.  It is so much easier to open the cabinets now.  I'm surprised the previous owners never put any on.
We went up to HT and got the book shelves and they are sitting in the library now.  They had a little damage to one of the units but nothing too bad that Ken can't fix.  I'll take a picture once they are in place and have the books in them.  It is amazing that they fit EXACTLY in the spot that I had pictured them in.
We also brought back the small maple book case and rocker that my grandmother gave to my mother.
The only other damage with the move we had was one of our Christmas plates got broken so I think we did pretty good.  The other mishap was that I got stung by a yellow jacket.  There was a nest on the railing of the deck.  The sting didn't hurt any worse than a regular bee but my hand did swell up a bit a few hours later but by the next day it was back to normal.  Ken took revenge for me and sprayed the nest and killed all the yellow jackets.
So are you waiting to hear how my lawn mowing experience went?  Actually it didn't go too badly.  At first I felt like I had no control and the machine just kind of took over.  I almost took out one of the forsythia bushes and made some crop circles in the grass, but slowly I gained some control and had fun.  There is an acre to cut and by the time I finished I was doing pretty good.  With some more practice I'll be an old hand at it.  Ken took a few pictures of me but I haven't taken them off his camera yet so tomorrow I'll post some pictures.
That's it for today.  Hope it was a good day for you too.
Food shopping
I don't know what the temperature was outside this morning when I walked because our thermometer is broken but it was a bit misty and warm.  I first walked to the post office to mail a birthday card.  The post office is only .4 of a mile from my house and from there I just walked up and down some streets and around the graveyards and the loop over by the ball field.
I walked passed the little pond in town and you can see the misty morning from the picture.
I walked passed some of the many corn fields around and notice that they all have little ears of corn starting.
Stopped to take a picture of these pretty day lilies too.
I didn't see anyone else walking this morning.
I walked 5.7 miles which was 11,075 steps for me.
********************************************
Today was food shopping day.  No commissary near so hopped in the car and drove to the Save and Shop which is 6 miles from home.  Oh my I had sticker shock!!!   Everything seemed so expensive.  We only bought a few things and left for WalMart which is about 15 miles from home. (about the same as the commissary was)  Prices much much better at WalMart!! (30 cents to a dollar or more for each item!!!)
I was going to mow the lawn when we got home but it started raining and it has been raining off and on all day with a few breaks of sun now and then.  Before we moved in Ken, the previous owner gave me a lesson on driving the lawn mower.  It is quite a big one and one I will have to get used to driving.  I'm sure my rows will NOT be straight!!  I still might be able to mow later after supper.  If not there is always tomorrow.
We still don't have the bookcases in the living room but I did take a picture of the chairs by the bay window that I just LOVE.  Sorry for the dark picture.
I got the curtains up in our bedroom too.  Again sorry for the dark picture.  The room is pretty colorful and it too will get a coat of paint.  I'm thinking a light blue.
Well, I'm starting to get a bit hungry so off I go to make supper.  We are having tacos tonight.
Hope your day is sunny and bright.
Back to blogging
Hi I'm back to blogging again.  We have had internet for some days now and though there is still a lot to do, things have slowed down enough now for me to resume blogging.  Not only are we moving in we also decided to paint a few rooms.  The dining room is now painted and so is the living room which as I've said is going to be our library.
Here's a picture of when we first started.  I am standing in the foyer looking at the library into the dining room.  The green color you see looks a lot better in the picture than it does in person.  We have painted it the same gray color as we did in dining room.
We have some furniture in the rooms now, but not everything yet.  Part of the book shelves are still up in the shed and parts are still in the garage too.  I'll take more pictures when things are looking better.
We have been taking loads from Happy Trails and then unloading into the garage and then from there we bring things into the house.  The garage now has enough room in it that we were able to put both of our cars in it.  The other day I went for a ride in my car just to give it a run.  It had been a couple of weeks since I drove it.  So nice driving it around here with so much less traffic.
Though the house was clean looking on the surface there was still things that needed cleaning like windows and base boards.  I'm also washing clothes, blankets, towels and curtains that have gotten a bit musty being packed away.  I've lost count of the number of loads I've washed with still quite a few to go yet.
A big surprise to us was that the washer and dryer didn't convey so we had to go out and buy a washer.  Didn't even buy a dryer because as most of you know I don't use a dryer so it gave me more room in the laundry room.
Ken has made me a temporary clothes line on the deck until he can put a proper clothes line out in the back yard. : )  Just a note that within a block of my house I've counted 7 clothes lines.  Ah this is my kind of town.  One thing that I DO NOT  miss is living where there is a neighborhood association.  I know most people like them but I don't like people telling me what I can't do.   I guess we are the type of people who the neighborhood associations are trying to keep out. : )
We have also painted my office the same lavender color that I had at the townhouse and I feel right at home here.
Eventually we will end up painting all the rooms.  At first we thought we liked all the colors but once here realized we didn't.  Also the paint is semi gloss and we prefer flat paint.  It's been work but fun making the house our home.
Of course I've been walking each morning and have one basic route mapped out which is 6 miles.  I'll be mapping out different routes as time goes by.  There are no paths to walk but the roads are like wide paths and most times only a car or two passes by.  Here are some of the roads I've been walking along.
This morning I started checking out churches and I am happy to say Ken came along with me. : )  This first church was a pretty little church and friendly too and I had a good feeling at first.  But I missed singing the old hymns and they didn't have a choir and I really enjoy the music part of worship so I was a bit disappointed.  The first half of the sermon was okay but it was just too long and the pastor kept going off on tangents.  This church just made me miss my old church so next week we will try a different one.
Well I guess I've rambled on long enough for today.  It's nice to be blogging again.
Enjoy your day.
Busy Busy Busy
Just a quick post to let you know moving in is going well, but there is so much to do.  No time yet for blogging.  We are calling about getting internet at the house today.  In the meantime we still have to go to the library or McDonald's to go on line and there just isn't any extra time for that.  We here at the library now on the way to get one of the last loads.
We are also painting the dining room and the living room which is going to be the library.  The color was a light greenish blueish non color so we decided to paint it a light gray before moving all the furniture in.
I am still walking each morning and learning all the streets in town and meeting more people.
Sorry no pictures but once we get internet at the house I will  be able to get back to normal blogging.  : )  I miss visiting with you all and will be around just as soon as I can.
A happy day to each of you.
The last night
It was cloudy and a bit misty this morning when I walked.  I took along my umbrella but only needed it for the first mile.  By the time I got down the mountain out of the clouds the mist had stopped.  I turned around and took this picture half way to the main road.
I met a walker friend Lena in one of the cemeteries where I walk.  I see her quite a few mornings now walking her dog.
A couple of horses along the way.
They are in the field by the old Drane House.
 This picture is behind the Drane House
which has another little pond behind it.
I walked 5.8 miles.
Yesterday I walked into town and around town too and went 5.6 miles.
Well only one more trailer night and tomorrow we get to move into the house.  We made it and we actually still like each other. : )
We are hoping to be able to start moving in tomorrow by 1 or 2 in the afternoon.
Yesterday we went for a little ride and stopped at another library in Oakland.  It's the main one in Garrett County and a little big bigger than the one in town.  Today we are at another library.  This one in Grantsville about 15 miles from our town.
I am so excited about tomorrow and trying so hard not to wish this day away. : )
Have a great day my friends.
I'll be back when I'm in the house.
Another day
It was raining this morning and the other day I found my umbrella so left on my walk as usual.  About a mile later the sun started to come out.  It did rain again later though.
I was surprised to see a heron in town at the little pond.
This little deer watched me walk by and let me take a picture.
I see lots a chipmunks but so far they have been too fast and I haven't been able to get a picture.  I walked down a road between two corn fields and I think they live in there.
 I walked passed some pretty day lilies.
I really don't miss my walk around the lake like I thought I would.  I have such pretty scenery to enjoy on my walks here and really love it here.  I think as long as I have a place to walk I'd be happy. : )
I walked 5.6 miles.
We stopped by the house again just a little while ago.  Ken and Michelle wanted to show us how to use and clean the pellet stove that is in the house.  She was also cleaning the oven for me and the bathrooms too.  This is going to be the cleanest house I've ever moved into.  I've thanked her many times for it too.
A few of you have mentioned how well we are getting along them and yes, that is true.  They are really nice people.  They will be moving back to the area in 5 years, so we will eventually see them again.
Wednesday and Thursday the movers will be coming to pack up Ken and Michelle's things and then on Friday the movers will load everything into the truck and away they go.  That's when we get to move in.  : )
I took this picture out the trailer door looking up at the sky.  I thought it looked kind of neat with the contrail through the clouds like that.
Hope all is well in your part of the world.
Have a great day.
THREE MORE DAYS!
Not long now
Our days are still mostly sunny and pretty and then one part of the day it gets dark and the sky opens up and pours down buckets of rain and then once again the sun comes out.  Its been like that for so many days in a row I've lost count.
Enjoying my walk around town each morning.  My neighbor cows and bulls were down by the road as I walked passed today so stopped and took a picture of this guy because he was the closet one to me.
I see lots of rabbits around here too and this one was eating grass on the side of the road.  He stopped as I walked passed and let me take his picture.
Yesterday we went for a ride to Johnstown, Pa and on the way there we stopped to take a look at this old covered bridge.  We drove over it a couple of times and got out to take some pictures of it.  Walked over it a couple of times too.
We haven't been doing very much work at Happy Trails and things are getting over grown pretty fast.  We are just keeping the driveways clear and later today will walk it again with the chain saw and do some more cutting.  Lots of little trees bending  low over the drive just need to be cut down.
Only 4 more trailer nights to go!!
Won't be long now before we can start the move into the house.  Sure will be nice to get back to a routine again.  We are stopping over at the house when we leave the library in a little while.  Have to pick up some mail and Michelle lets me walk around the house. : )
Hope your day is sunny and bright.
