Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Two plants

It was a nice crisp sunny 40 degrees this morning when I walked and my ideal walking weather!!  I walked on over to the lake.  My walking around the lake days are numbered so I am really enjoying it more than ever.
I saw a few deer around, some rabbits and of course all the geese.  Looking across the water on one of the little islands it looked liked a bunch of eggs scattered around so I zoomed in on it with my camera to see and sure enough they were geese eggs.
I saw quite a lot of Gray Cat birds this morning and also a bird I've never seen before.  It was mostly black and had red almost like stripes through it.

On the way home a couple of cars stopped for me at the cross walk to let me cross the street.  Nice to run across some of those considerate people that are still around.  : )

I found 4 pennies.
Walked 6.4 miles.

It was a very nice morning at church yesterday on Mother's Day and I came home with two plants instead of one.  My friend Mary Jo gave me hers.  Isn't she nice.  These are the two I picked out.
Yesterday morning we had 2 more viewings of the house, but no contract yet.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A perfect day for washing the sheets so I did that first thing and had them hanging out on the line and drying in the cool breeze.  It didn't take long and before long they were back on the bed.
Not much house work to do because we are keeping everything super clean and putting everything away when we are done with it.  The house seems so sterile!!!
We had to leave the house because of another showing between 2 and 3 this afternoon.  We just got back.
Hope all is well in your part of the world and that your day is a happy one.
Happyone : )
How often we look upon God as our last and feeblest resource.
We go to Him because we have nowhere else to go.
And then we learn that the storms of life
have driven us,
not up the rocks,
but into the desired havens.
Betsy - If our house sells early we will store our stuff up at HT or in the one of the garages at the new house.  I'm sure the people will let us since we are letting them stay there until the end of July.  Then we still just live in the trailer at HT.
I'm thinking that The Lord has everything worked out with the sale of that house so that it won't be any big deal at all. Just smile and relax. Ha! Smile and relax and enjoy the lake.
Ohhh, wonder what's the story, behind the scattered eggs. Doesn't seem it can be good.
Hooray for people looking at your house.
And hooray for keeping everything spick and span and picked up. :-) Are you sure you want to go back to having so much stuff around? :-))))
More stuff. More to dust, etc. :-)
It sounds like another lovely walk! I am slightly envious of your lake walks.:-)
We would have to do major clearing out of this house were we to think of selling it, which we aren't, of course. It is a real challenge to keep things in "apple pie" order.
Hi There, Sounds like you all have everything worked out --so that is good.
I know you will miss walking in the area where you live now---but you'll enjoy those mountains just as much!!!!
Looks like your realtor is doing a great job of getting the word out for people to visit your home.
Your plants are pretty...
Hugs,
Betsy
What a nice walk! Sounds like you are getting lots of traffic on your house. Hope it sells soon. It is hard to keep the house perfect while people are looking at it. I had to do that with four little ones at home, including a brand-new baby! It was quite a challenge.
