Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Water

Here we are up at Happy Trails today.  It's been a cloudy day and a few sprinkles of rain every now and then.  Not really bad.
We brought 55 gallons of water up with us and have used it all up trying to flush out the pink stuff in the system which was used to winterize the trailer.  We have spent all day on this project and haven't finished it yet.  Not such an easy task without a hose and city water!!  We are out now looking for a water source.  It is used to be that you could get water at a gas station.  That is no longer the case.
Our kind neighbor Ron popped on over to see us and told us we would be welcome to come up to his house get water from him.  So if we can't find a place we will take him up on it.

It is getting near supper time and in a little while we will go up the street and eat at Uno's.

I haven't been able to go for a walk today or even walk around Happy Trails but it's still nice being up here.
Hopefully tomorrow we will have nice clear water and will be able to take showers after getting some work done.

A happy day to you all.
Till next time..........
Happyone : )

Good luck with finding your water.
It seems to be one of those things we don't think a lot about until it is scarce.

Best of luck with the water!

Oh, my! How do you transport that much water? I can't imagine how much is needed to flush out the winterization. Take care of yourselves and enjoy Uno's. There was one in our area awhile back, and we always enjoyed going.

That is a lot of water to haul. I hope that day two of flushing the system will be all it takes. It'll be great to take showers and have access to fresh water.

We once lived 4 months without running water when our well went dry, and I'll never forget that. I know it is not easy, and 55 gallons does not go far. Have fun at Happy Trails! Art

Sounds like a little frustration but an offer of help from a nice neighbor. Hope you are able to get the water situation solved soon. Part of what makes life interesting are the problems we get to solve every day ;-)
