Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

No red, purple or orange!!

I was surprised that it was so chilly out this morning - only 23 degrees.  The sun came out though and there was no wind so it was really quite nice.
I walked on over to the lake again but this time didn't walk by the dam, but went the other way over by the boat ramp.  There stood the heron on the rocks.
There is a patch of woods near the boat ramp and I walked along the paths there.
It was a good turning around point to head back home.

I also saw a deer and a bunny rabbit too.  Haven't seen rabbits in a long time so it was nice to see one again.
Very few people out but I did see a few people I know.
I am so thankful that I am out walking again. : )
Today I walked 4.7 miles.

It seems like just a couple of days ago that it was Tuesday but here it is again and time for my knitting group.  Got my tote bag ready with some projects and out I went. A small group of only 8 of us there this morning, but a nice group to sit, knit and talk with. : )
I knitted on a pair of slippers I'm making.  When I got home I realized that I had made a mistake, so had to rip out a couple of rows, but all is fixed and I knitted some more when I got back home.

I've done some reading this afternoon and not much of anything else.

Today it is only clear liquids for me - no red purple or orange.  I've had jello, lemon ice, apple juice, and broth getting ready for the dreaded cololoscopy procedure tomorrow.  I've opted for the pills instead of drinking stuff.  Please say a little prayer for me tomorrow that all goes well. Thanks. : )

A happy day to you.

I will be including you in my prayers.
I had that procedure done last fall. When all was said and done I thought the worst part was drinking that dreadful tasting liquid. I wasn't offered the choice of taking a pill instead. I think you made the right choice.
I will be thinking of you tomorrow.

I will!! My hubs had one earlier this year and said the prep was worse than the procedure. Hoping all goes well!

Hi Karen...sending prayers up for you. Everything will be just fine. If you've never had one before....the worse part is the day before, when you're "getting ready" for the test. Big hugs and God Bless.

Very smart to opt for the pills. I can never make it thru the liquids, I just get too sick. Love you...hope all goes well! Love ya, Pamie

Yes, praying that all is well. Good girl to take good care of yourself. Mornings are so pretty just now with the stark contrasts and that pale rosy glow.

The prep is no fun at all!

Prayers for you, Karen. I've had 2 colonoscopies --and the procedure itself is simple. BUT--the cleaning out of the system the day before is hard!!!!! Good Luck.
Hugs,
Betsy

Prayer said for you Karen! I have had a couple of colonoscopies. The preparation is much worse than the actual procedure. I will be thinking of you tomorrow!
