I walked on over to the lake and walked part way around it before turning around and heading back home.
I only took a couple of pictures before the battery in my camera told me that my batteries were exhausted. I missed out on some really good photo ops too. One was of a deer standing still in the middle of the brook pretty near to me.
I saw 9 deer - 5 on the way to the lake and 4 at the lake.
Didn't walk that far around the lake so only saw a couple of people.
Not much traffic around this morning. Schools are closed this week for spring break so maybe lots of people not going to work either.
I walked 4.6 miles.
Didn't find many coins last month with not walking for a couple of weeks. Only 11 cents. It's the start of a new month and maybe this will be a good one for finding coins. : )

We left mid morning and went to the library. We returned some books and DVD's. I looked for a book that was supposed to be on the shelf but it wasn't there so when I got home I just put it on the reserved list. I'll let them find it for me. I have two books on the reserve list now. I'm number one for both of them so I'll probably get them both on the same day.We did a few other errands while we were out too and had a sandwich for lunch at Joe's.
We stopped in the Giant just before coming home and I saw Petey there. : ) She is the 90 year old who walks with her husband John along the paths. It always takes me by surprise when I see one of my walking friends someplace different than walking! Ken got to met her.
This afternoon I spent some time on the computer making a couple of charts with excel. I made a weight chart and a calorie chart. I only needed a little help from Ken. : )
I've done a little knitting and reading too.
It's been a nice day - the sun was out and it actually felt like spring!!
Hope your day was a happy one.

We had LOTS of fog here this morning. It did lift rather quickly, thankfully!
It sounds like you have had a good Monday - and a good beginning to a new month!
I love the quote!!
Sounds like a good day. It is a bit frustrating when the camera batteries go out right when you need them to work! I always try to carry spares in my little camera case. Hope you enjoy your evening.
Sounds like you had a good day... I'm sure you will enjoy your new library books and DVD's.... Hope the library gets your reserved books in soon.
Your walk sounded great... Nine deer, huh??? That's neat... We had about 7 out on the golf course one day recently.
Hugs,
Betsy
My camera ALWAYS seems to do that during god photo opportunities! I love that moonshot you captured though.
Your camera did get one lovely picture, though. :-)
Perhaps you will show us more, of your charts? You did show one, which Ken made for you.... I know.
Glad it was nice, where you are. 'Twas rainy yesterday, in the morning here... But it did clear up...
