I only saw one other person walking and didn't even see any deer or other animals.
Heard birds and saw a bunch of crows but it was a very quiet morning. Seemed much earlier than it was.
I found a quarter.
My steps for this walk were 12,680.
********************My son David, and his two children who of course are my two grandchildren got here at 10:00 and got to spend the whole day here with us. It was a very good visit. We had lots to eat and those pumpkin cookies by the way were a big hit and every one was eaten up. We decided they were more like little pieces of cake than a cookie. Kind of like muffin tops!!
We played, colored and it was an enjoyable day just being with them. : )
After they were gone I realized that I hadn't taken any pictures.
So now they are gone and the house seems very quiet.
We will read a little, watch some television, I'll knit a little and of course have some ice cream too.
Hope your day was a happy one.
Happyone : )
Our grandchildren accept us for ourselves,
without rebuke or effort to change us,
as no one in our entire lives has ever done,
not our parents, siblings, spouses, friends -
and hardly ever our own grown children.
