Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

The trailer arrives

It is after supper and we are in the parking lot of MacDonalds so I can blog.  : )
The trailer arrived earlier than expected.  Here it comes up the driveway.
The man had no trouble at all getting it up and around some steep parts of the driveway.  He parked it right where we wanted it to go and made sure we were happy before he left.
Ken got the trailer leveled and then he went off to play on his tractor.  He is making a new road down to the creek.
I got everything nice and clean in the trailer.  Wiped down all the surfaces and cleaned the floor.
I got rid of the blah bedspread and brightened the bedroom up a bit with this red, white and blue quilt.
We made a trip to Walmart and came home with these bags of goodies for the trailer.  A rug, some towels, and a few other little items.
We didn't do any work on the tractor barn and it was nice for a change to just enjoy the day without working.

On the way back to the trailer in just a bit we are going to stop and get some ice cream to bring back for our snack.  I think we may play a game of 500 Rummy and then later go to sleep in a real bed.  : )

Hope your day was a good one.

This makes me grin so big. Just the thought of sleeping in comfort...what a great blessing. This is the best purchase you've made lately!

How exciting! What fun it must be to have a real bed inside rather than sharing with the insects from outdoors.:)

It's not just a trailer, but your bedroom, a shower, facilities, and a kitchen!!! Wait a minute -- how do you have water and electricity?
