Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.
~Groucho Marx

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Thank you and a Winner

I would like to THANK all of you
who donated to the American Cancer Society
on my behalf and helped me reach my goal of $800.

Every time someone bought a raffle ticket
for the weave-it afghan I made,
I hoped they would win.

But there can only be one winner
and here is the winning ticket.
And the holder of the winning ticket is
 She is a local friend.

It meant a lot! : )
Have a blessed Sunday.

  1. Congratulations to Winnie!!!

And it's so nice to hear that name again. When I was growing up, we had a family friend by that name. Don't think I ever hear it, any more though. Nice...
