Only a few people did I see by the lake.
I noticed this azalea bush is in bloom now. It's the only one I've seen blooming.

I had to do a little baking today because the last three bananas sitting on the counter turned into some ugly looking brown things so I turned them into some delicious Banana Bread.
I've been meaning to transplant a couple of house plants I bought a while ago into bigger pots and I finally got around to doing that this afternoon. Hope they survive the bigger pots.
Still have a few chores to do before I can sit down and read some more so off I go.

You need to invest in stock for walking shoes. I know that you feel that they have to be comfortable right from the start. Do you have any other suggestions? I'm still wearing the pair I was wearing way back when we met a few years ago. That can't be good.
The bread rolls look delicious. I am so careful when buying footwear now as I have had so many uncomfortable pairs in the past! We have seen a number of azalea bushes in full bloom on our walks - they have such pretty coloured flowers.
I have azaleas in the same town; why aren't they blooming? Probably, because I don't care for them the way I should.

Good shoes are so expensive I almost feel like I should talk to a banker when buying them. I like New Balance too. I do a combo running and walking and always get a pair of running shoes, which work just fine for fast walking. I always try to get a "couple" extra miles from them and end up keeping them too long.
