Here i am walking on down along one of the roads on our land. It was only in the 20's and not long after it started snowing.

I walked around the lake this morning. It was a cold morning at 25 degrees and cloudy but it was very still without any breeze at all. Didn't see anyone at all until i was half way around the lake and then i saw quite a few people.
I'm on the way back home on the path here. If you look close you might be able to see a deer up ahead walking on the right side of path.
I walked 6.1 miles.

There was a special service at church this morning, a Christmas Musical called The Lost Star put on by the choir and other talented people from my church. I am always amazed at the talent of the people in my little church.

Congratulations on the additional land you were able to get. It sounds as if you will have a great view as well as good access. With sixteen acres you should be able to find plenty of walking trails.
Wow---I'm envious of your land and land purchase... We were in western Md not too long ago. We spent the night at Cumberland. Is that anywhere near your land? I loved that area --since it was so mountainous...Will you all eventually build on that land? Lots of privacy for you for sure!!!!! AND---lots of room to walk/hike. That is awesome.
Hugs,
Betsy
wonderful!
I am very excited for you, it sounds wonderful! It will save you money with having electricity already there and of course, better view, a road, and the brook is the icing on the cake! How many times have you guys thought about the kind of house you're going to put on the property, lol?
I'm so happy for you! If anyone can appreciate nature's beauty, it's you. Your photos today are wonderful. I can only imagine owning such a beautiful piece of God's earth. Congratulations.
It sounds like the Christmas Musical - "The Lost Star" was a success. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Oh I am so happy that you got the adjoining property!!!!!! Wonderful.
And I look forward to all the pretty shots of that meandering little stream, in the future. -happy sigh- This sounds about purrrrrrrrfect! Good for you two.

I did see the deer! Yay for having everything work out to get the adjoining property. What a wonderful turn of events. Electricity, a better road, a brook, it all sounds lovely.
How exciting for you and your husband to be able to get all that land. I am very happy for you.
