Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another day : )

A chilly 32 degrees this morning for my walk today.  The sun isn't rising until after 7 now so once again it is dark when i leave, but once it did rise the sun came out to warm things up a bit.  It was really a beautiful morning for walking.
No special route, just walked wherever i felt like it.  On these walks i usually walk a little farther than normal because i get to walking and not paying attention to the time and then realize i should be heading back home.  Today i walked 7 miles.
Snapped this picture walking down one the streets i walked along.
A few people out here and there and a deer ran across the street.

I'm home today getting some laundry done and i have two loads hanging out on the lines now blowing gently in the breeze on a nice sunny day. : )  Tomorrow is supposed to be another sunny day so i'll do another two loads then.  I only have room to hang 2 loads at a time.

I made another batch of pumpkin bread - 7 small loaves.  I've put them in the freezer.  They make great little gifts.  I just wrap them in plastic wrap and put a bow on them.

Remember those TracFones i was happy to get the other day?  Well, we haven't had good luck with them and have sent them back.  Just couldn't work with the web site to get them working right.  I guess for now we will just keep our old phones.

Hard to believe we are into December already.
Hope it is the start of your best one yet.

and behold,
everything is softer and more beautiful.

I didn't remember you mentioning new phones so I scrolled back and somehow I missed that post. Sorry to hear the new ones didn't work out. We still have a landline that rarely rings. We have cell phones, but I have yet to text. I'm not big on talking on the phone either.

Sorry the new phones didn't *come through.* I don't remember about them but... There are plenty of phones out there, to choose from, that's for sure! :-)

Oh Karen, I meant to tell you, I baked your recipe for the pumpkin bread and got three big loaves, which we just finished off yesterday. It was so good and moist. I'm baking some more, too, so that I'll have something on hand for gifts. I even bought some special freezer bags today while shopping to use for that purpose. So glad I tried it. Now I do need to get out and walk seven miles. Say "hey" to Ken! (Sorry about those phones.)

When I first started with TracFone, I activated it over the phone; no problems. It was a Nokia; now I have a Motorola. I used to buy cards and activate them by phone too (yes, I kept my land line), but now I buy minutes online. Other than being rather slow, I've had no problems . I just have a basic cell phone, no camera, no internet connection for it. It's "magic" to me how they put more minutes on my phone through cyberspace while I'm online with them via my PC.I guess they bounce the minutes off the satellite?!

You did the right thing sending the phones back. Probably full of headache and problems, especially when they don't work right from the beginning...everything happens for a reason. December is off to a pretty good start, hope it doesn't get much colder. They're predicting and "average" winter this year for us. After our last two, I don't remember what that is, ha! I'm enjoying your morning photos!
