Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Punkin Chunkin

Giving Thanks Day Number 4

I'm Thankful for fun weekends
where we do something different.
***************************************
We are about to start one of the those fun and different weekends today.  Ever hear of Punkin Chunkin?  It is held in Delaware and it's a contest to see who can launch a pumpkin the farthest on some kind of a launcher that people have made throughout the year.  Check out the link to learn more about it.
We are leaving in a few minutes for a weekend of fun!!  We will camp out in the FJ and tent Friday and Saturday nights.
I'm hoping to have some photos when we get back.
Enjoy your weekend.

YES! Of course I've heard of Pumpkin Chuckin'! Hasn't everybody? ,-) They do a program on it, on cable tv.

What fun! Enjoy! Of course you will. And wishes for good weather, for tenting.

This sounds like so much fun! -- the pumpkin chucking part, not the camping. :)
