Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A little break

Just got back from my morning walk.  It's a hot one out there.  The humidity is back again.  I walked one of my connect the path routes.  I passed this pool and thought it looked so inviting.  I took the picture through a fence - if the fence wasn't there I would have been tempted to jump in for a quick cool off. : )
Heard lots of birds, saw rabbits and a deer and only a few people.
I really liked how this picture turned out.  I was walking through a tunnel of trees and just coming to the end.

I'm going to take a bit of a break from this blog.  I feel like I'm writing the same stuff every day and just need a little time off.
I will still be around reading blogs and I will still be posting a daily photo on my other blog Snapshots by Happyone.   You can always stop by there if you care to and say hi.

A happy day to you.
I'll be back to posting here soon.
Till next time..........
A smile from me to you.
Happyone : )

Have a good blogging holiday!

Perhaps it's the weather... The time of year... Something... But my blogging muse has flown the coop too, today. :-)

But I am so ding-dang chatty, I know it will come back. :-)

Do all blogging, as it feels right, each and every day. :-)

A little, wee, tiny, wittle-bitty break is good. You can tell how I feel about my favs taking breaks, but I do know where to find you! I love the quotes you find for us...always something new there and the books you talk about...always something new there...and the things that are similar are comforting and familiar like a favorite pair of jeans or a cozy chair in the corner. So don't think of it as the "same stuff every day." You know what? I can see you taking a leap right into that pool!

Like Vee said. a tiny break is good, enjoy this time, I always enjoy my walks with you, and was thinking of you this morning while I was walking, wondering what adventures you would encounter today, and this pool looks so inviting.~smile~. Isn't it amazing how blogging connects so many of us?
Thank you for sharing.

Don't be gone long, you are my motivation to keep going. I know you will keep walking even though you're not blogging, I'll have to remember that. I look forward to your visits and comments to mine. Your picture of the sun peeking through at the other end is just beautiful. Photograhy is definitely your niche. As always, love the quote as well. Enjoy your break, you will be missed, we'll be here waiting.

Yikes!!

I will not panic, I will not panic, I will not panic!!! :-)

Ok ... I DO understand. And I will look forward to your return. Please, never feel that your observations of your day "are the same stuff" all the time. They are little pearls of a regular and happy life ... and for those of us (me) whose life is seldom regular, they are little visits to a place where "life is good".

But breaks are good and refreshing, and as my friend, I can't deny you that!!

See you at knitting (don't get any ideas of taking a break from that - it will tip me over the edge.) :-)

Hi Karen,
Hope you are enjoying your break.
We miss you out here in blogland :).
Don't ever think you are saying the same stuff. As you can see by the comments, there are a lot of us who look forward to reading about your days. We will try to be patient while you are on break. ;).
Wishing you a happy day and weekend too.

Hi Karen - I was enjoying your walks vicariously whenever I can since I've not been able to walk (except for a few times when I got foolish) for six weeks now. So have a good break, and I will look forward to catching up with you when you are back up to writing. Thanks for the expressions of condolences on the death of my sister. Be well, stay happy! Art
