I wonder how long they will use it and I wonder why any one would want to walk on it when they have the lake to walk around. Well, it would be good for those icy winter days. I know lots of people would rather walk inside than outside, it's just not for me.
A crow flew by me and perched on a wire above my head. I talked to it a bit and he looked at me and cocked its head like a dog does. They do remember people so maybe he'll remember me. : )
I walked 7.2 miles.

Today I did some more work in the kitchen. Not baking this time but dusting all the places that I don't do every week. Like taking all the dishes off the hutch before dusting and on top of the cabinets and all. Tomorrow I will finish up by cleaning the appliances inside and out.
With all the things I baked yesterday I ended up not eating any of them. I had oreo cookies that Ken brought home from work for me. They come six in a package and are 270 calories which isn't so bad for 6 cookies. He brought two packages and I'm going to eat them again tonight and watch another Doc Martin Episode - last night it was good but sad.
Hope all went well with your day.

A happy day to you.

Sounds like you had a good day, Happy One. Those cookies sound nice--but your banana bread and shortbread cookies sound better....
Have a good evening enjoying your show.
Hugs,
Betsy
If that crow remembers you, I want to hear about it. How people can bake and then not test the results is beyond me. It's why I avoid baking as much as possible.
How are the bugs when you're out walking? Perhaps they're not around much. Here they're really bad even though it is cold and rainy. I've got bumps and lumps all over me.
Vee, no bugs at all yet. : )
Yeah the crow is pretty neat, maybe he will remember you. I'd only start being concerned if each day they grow in numbers, and start following you around. Ahh, that actually might not be all that bad. Having an entourage of crows. ;p
Love you mom, have a GREAT weekend.
I hate the treadmill. Outside beats it, hands-down. Good for bad weather though, especially if a person is not totally sure on their feet and in danger of falling, in ice, etc.
But who prefers a treadmill????????????????? Oh I suppose some do.
~♥~
Wow, that's a nice treadmill. I was considering one last winter when it was icy, freezing and cold outside. Spring through Fall, I'm with you, outside is the best. I'd probably use it on rainy days too, like this past week has been. BTW, hubby uses BrainBreakers for his puzzles (google it, pops right up). I bet the crow will remember you!
I made a mistake, hubby's puzzle is BrainsBreaker, had my "s" in the wrong place, lol.
I agree that walking outdoors is a lot more interesting than the treadmill. Once in a while I do the treadmill while watching a tv show.
I'm amazed that you chose Oreos over your homemade baked goods. Once I go through the trouble of baking and cleaning up, I have a hard time resisting the goods.
Have a great weekend.
