Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

End of the world - not yet!

I guess Harold Camping forgot to read these Bible verses.

Matthew 24:35,36 & 42
Heaven and earth will pass away,
but My words will by no means pass away.
But of that day and hour no one knows,
not even the angels of heaven,
but My Father only.
Watch therefore,
for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

Matthew 25:13
Watch therefore,
for you know neither the day nor the hour
in which the Son of Man is coming.

2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night,
in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise,
and the elements will melt with fervent heat;
both the earth and the works that are in it will burned up.

Well Jesus didn't come yesterday,
but He is coming one day. : )
I'm ready - hope you are too.

Have a blessed Sunday.
Happyone : )

Amen, Happy One. Sometimes, it gets embarrassing to think that so many 'Christians' can differ so much in their interpretations and thinking... God KNOWS when the world will end. Nobody else does.

Hugs,
Betsy

Whew...now that embarrassment is finally over! I cringed when I saw the first billboard a few months ago...knowing folks at work would begin chatting and asking if I was in agreement with the "prophecy"... yikes. Of course, I said no, no, no...not now, not when HC did the same thing in the early 80's! Wonder what he says "the day after"...
