Every where I walked was so pretty with the green grass and flowering trees. Here is just a glimpse of the where I walked and what I saw on this beautiful morning.
I walked by this beautiful pink dogwood tree,
and along the road.
Over a footbridge in the woods,
and along the sidewalk here.
Then along another path with a flowering red bud tree.
Before I knew it I had walked 6.8 miles and it was time to go back home.

I got everything done I had to do in the morning around the house. I was so busy getting things done that I forgot to eat breakfast so for lunch I made a pancake and had one with syrup and put some RediWhip on top.
As I type this now it is 79 degrees outside. I plan to spend the rest of the afternoon sitting out on the deck. I am going to read and make weave-it squares and enjoy this nice weather. There is a chance of thunder storms again later today, but just a chance. I'm thinking they will pass us right by.

Hope it's nice where you are and you too got to spend some of the day outside enjoying it.
A smile from me to you.

Now here's a quote to make Christians think about how others see them!!!
I like your Christ,
I do not like your Christians.
Your Christians are so unlike
your Christ.
~ Mahatma Gandhi

Let us always hope that others love our Christ. Christians are, after all, always a disappointment.
So many blossoms! So much green grass! Everything looks so pretty.
I LOVE today's quote...that's immediately going as my Facebook status! (Lovely walk today!)
Your pictures are so beautiful. You really capture the morning coming to light. It sure was a warm day, glad we missed the storms too.
I am so glad your weather is beginning to get warm, hope you enjoyed your afternoon on the deck. I spent the afternoon outside too, it is so hard for me to stay in when the weather is nice.
As always enjoyed the walk.

Gandhi's comment is sorta sad to hear --since I am a Christian. BUT--since we are all HUMAN, none of us can match up to Christ. Some Christians do a better job of being like Christ than others. Some call themselves Christians --and they do not live as God would choose AT ALL.... SO---I guess that Gandhi is right. We all --Christian or not--could do a better job of living a much better life...
Beautiful picture of the pink dogwood...
Hugs,
Betsy
You certainly have some beautiful places to walk this time of the year. The Gandhi quote should give us all pause.
It was a wonderful day yesterday, and I had some time to enjoy it after work. Your walking pictures are great, as usual. One of my favorite trees right now is the redbud. I tried to grow one here, but it didn't make it.
It's really windy right now. How was your Thursday walk?
Love the flowering trees. But really LUV the footbridge photo!
Gentle hugs...
I think Gandhi is right, especially these days.
Looks like you had a beautiful walk filled with the sights and sounds of spring. Most of our flowering trees have come and gone, but the azaleas are coming out now.
It sounds like a perfect way to spend a warm Wednesday afternoon!
What a great quote.
