Spotted a couple of deer in the woods and all the geese were around as usual. I heard a woodpecker but couldn't find him in the tree. My son called and we had a nice talk while walking. Didn't talk that long because my hand was getting cold holding onto the phone. I walked 6.5 miles.

Last night we watched a program on television about people who have gone a bit overboard on decorating the outside of their houses with Christmas lights. Some people spend months putting up lights for some fantastic displays. It was a fun show to watch. I thought maybe the street in Baltimore that I took the video of last week would be on it, but it wasn't.
Today seemed like Saturday because Ken took the day off and we spent it like a Saturday. We were out and about doing errands. We finally made it to Anne's House of Nuts without having to wait on a long line to get into the place. We didn't get to save the $10 but had fun loading up our basket with goodies. :-) One of things we got were chocolate covered raisins. I haven't had any of those in years!
I found some time to start knitting a baby hat and got a little reading done too.
In just a little while we are off again to get some pizza at Ledo's. There are so many of them around here and we are going to go to one which we haven't been to before. I like their pizza a lot but it is very different from regular pizza.
This evening we are going to watch A Christmas Story. My snack will be a little sampling of the goodies we got at Anne's.
I hope you had a happy day.
A smile from me to you.
Happyone :-)

as opening our hearts.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Have you *forgotten* my request for a pic of you, in your sharp red dress??? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... ,-)
You look cute in all that clothes :) I am glad you choose to walk even if it`s cold. I wear clothes of wool as the layer close to my body to keep warm when I walk on cold days.
You certainly look as if you had stayed warm...how do you dress your hands? Enjoy your movie and the snacks. I love chocolate or yogurt covered raisins, but I haven't had them in a long while either. Oh well...Christmas is coming.
AuntA, yes, I did forget. Next time I wear it I'll get a picture taken.
Vee, I just keep my hands up inside my sleeves. They stay nice and warm. I can't wear gloves because I need my hands to be able to take pictures!
Well you certainly look warm and protected! Glad you finally got into Anne's HON!
You look like you could brave an Arctic cold front! It's snowing here in the mountains of CO. Try the nuts WITH the chocolate covered raisins - I love nuts with a bit of chocolate thrown in.
Very good statement about opening our hearts! I haven't been able to get to visiting much lately, but love your cheerful posts! Thank you for always being so positive and honoring the Lord with your heart!
Hi Karen,
I just typed a comment and it disappeared. I'm not going to re-type it in case it shows up somehow. Don't want to be repetitive.
Stay warm.
