I didn't see any wildlife except for the ducks and geese.
I walked 6.2 miles. I should have walked farther today to work off some of those extra calories from yesterday!

Giving Thanks Day Number 26
I am thankful for the kindness of people I come across.
The ones who stop at crosswalks so you can cross the street,
or when you're driving, they give you a break and let you in.
The people who smile at you and say good morning.
People who still hold the door open for you.
People who ask can I help you
when you look like you need some.
The everyday people,
who care about others.

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone. Ours was very nice. We had the parade on television and I ran back and forth watching and cooking. All the food was delicious from the turkey down to the pumpkin pie and of course we ate a bit too much.
I spent the morning doing this and that this morning. Ken was back home a little after 9 already from shopping. He said it was crowded but not that bad yet.
There is another train show sale this weekend and Ken was getting his train stuff ready for the sale.
Ken is already tired of eating turkey so we went to Subway for lunch. I had half a veggie one.
The warm rainy morning has turned into a cold windy one and I'm beginning to see some blue, so I'm sure the sun will be shining before long.
Later this afternoon I am going with Ken to help him set up for the train sale. It's not far from our house at the Turf Valley golf course. I've driven by but have never been there. Though I've never seen it, supposedly there is a hotel with a restaurant there with big halls to rent for such things as the train show sale. We are planning to take a break from setting up and having supper there.
Ken came across this cute little tree and it has been sitting on the window sill in the kitchen for a couple of weeks now.
Now that Thanksgiving is over I think tomorrow I'll get down the Christmas things and start decorating.
No time for reading blogs today but I'll be visiting you all tomorrow.
Enjoy your day.
Have you been out shopping!?
A smile from me to you.
Happyone :-)

Sounds like a great day. I like that little tree, it looks beautiful and perfectly blends with the mood. Have a great weekend
Oh that Marjorie! I love her.
NO! Heavens no! No shopping today for me. Ken is a brave one. Hope you're getting a diamond.;> Lots of great jewelry sales out there.
He's already sick of turkey? He'd never do well in our family. I'll be sick of it by tomorrow so we'll start disguising it in wraps and things as best we can.
Enjoy the decorating...that's a sweet little kitchen tree.
I prefer to avoid crowds when possible, so no shopping for me. Instead I'm trying to muster up the energy for a bit of Christmas decorating. I think the jet lag is getting the best of me as I'm not feeling too energetic for the job.
I do love your little tree. Hope the train sale is a success.
We won't be eating turkey today, but we will tomorrow. Went shopping today, wasn't too bad. Cashier in Target said the shopping line was wrapped around the building at 4am!! I think that is crazy.
Love your little Christmas tree. I like to see the little trees all lit up in the windows.
Ohhhhhhhhh precious little tree!!!!! I love things like that, to put in a window. But all I have, are my electric Christmas candles. Which I leave in a kitchen window, all year round.
Oh your tree is so cute! He was a doll to get it for you!
The tree is very cute. I do not feel ready to decorate for Christmas yet, but I look forward to see yours :)
Have a nice weekend.
I like that tree!
I don't shop -- I hate crowds. We're decorating the inside of the house today. Spent Friday visiting Robyn and yesterday taking my mom back home.
