Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A foggy walk

It was 40 degrees and foggy as I walked around the lake this morning. This picture is on the path just as I'm getting to the lake. I didn't see very many people out, but I'm sure there will be more later once the fog burns off. The sun tried to come out but didn't mange to until after I got home. Still it was a nice walk. I stopped to listen and watch two Cardinals talk to each other with a few trees in between them. Didn't see any deer but they may have been hidden in the fog and I heard the geese making their honking talk though I couldn't see them on the lake.
There were many, many of these webs all around the lake which showed up so easily because of the dew on them. I guess they must be from all the same type of spider because they were all made the same, though I didn't see any spiders in any of the ones I look at.I thought this tree was so pretty. I think it's a crab apple tree.I walked my usual 6 miles today.

Sunset 7:44

Since I always have this walking part first on a post and then the rest of my day I thought I'd just post the walking part first and then post again in the evening about the rest of my day.
I'm off to have some breakfast now.
Enjoy your Wednesday!

Hi Dear Karen,
The pictures are beautiful. Fog! That is strange at this time.. I thought spring was there.

And those spider webs look kinda scary.

and i think this a nice idea to write two different posts. IT is 8 in the evening when i am writing this and my wED IS almost over. Had a nice one though.

Have a great WED.

Foggy mornings give some wonderful photo opportunities. You did a good job of capturing the water drops on the web. I like your first foggy morning picture, and of course the tree is beautiful.

What a spooky morning -- complete with cob webs and all!
The tree is Kwanzon cherry tree. Magnificent, isn't it?
