Another one of those great spring morning walks. I walked over to the lake this morning and got half way around it and saw my friend Jeannie. We walk the lake in opposite directions so we have to stop walking to chat. Today I turned around and walked the way she was going for a change. We got to talk more that way. We both prefer to walk alone but every once in a while we like a bit of company. This works good for both of us. I saw lots of deer around today and lots of people too. The birds were all out singing merrily, the sun was shining in a bright blue sky, and some of the trees are getting buds and some are even opening. What a wonderful start to the day. I even found a lucky penny again.

Later in the morning it got pretty windy. I tried to hang my clothes out on the line but it was just too windy so I ended up bringing the clothes back in side. I hang the clothes out on the deck which is on the second floor of my townhouse and if something blows off the line I have to go and find it! :-)Sunset 7:23

I read quite a bit today of a John Saul book I just started and I'm liking it. I also did the last lesson for my Bible study group tonight.
Kenny won't be home till late so I had a late lunch/ early supper today. I made myself nachos. Though they were good, they taste much better when Kenny makes them. I'm not sure if they really are better or just taste better because I don't make them!
I walked down to church this evening. The Bible study is very good and I enjoy the company of the women there too. I'm finding I really enjoy being part of a community church. :-)
Here it is mid week already. Hope you found some happiness scattered about your Wednesday.
Happyone :-)

Hi Dear Karen,
AH.... your thoughts... this one is lovely... i'll apologise in a better way.... and the pictures reveal the spirit of the spring... I liked the second one very much. nice colors...
How do you read so many books Karen, i always wanted to know??? I still have to complete the two books i borrowed from the library...
Ratz - I don't watch a lot of television. If you read every evening for just an hour, you would be surprised how many books you can read! :-)
I saw you at Silver Vals. She describes your blog as being able to find good in everything. Hence decided to pop by for a look. Plus, my name is Karen too!
Nice Blog! Will come by again definitely.
Cheers!
Those trees are looking so pretty. What a lovely way to start the day.
I often think that food tastes better when others prepare it. I'm not sure why that is.
You've certainly had some beautiful morning walks lately. I always enjoy your morning pictures.
I think anything that someone else makes tastes better than what I have to make for myself!
I had to laugh as I pictured you running around your neighborhood looking for unmentionables!
What a difference in those photos in just a few weeks. So much light and colour.
And I'm so, so jealous of the nachos...
Hello! - Glad to see your finally getting some spring days out there. I'm having a hard time staying out of the nurseries. It's just too early and the plant selection hasn't just isn't really out yet. Patiences is a virtue I sometimes don't have time for! Hugs!
Brad - Hi, glad you stopped by. :-) Hope things are well with you.
I had to laugh at this post because I hang my "undies" on the line and it would be embarrassing if I had to run around the neighborhood trying to find them.
