Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A nice 6 mile walk around the lake this morning. A few people scattered about here and there doing their walking or running. Deer, rabbits, cardinals, ducks and geese were around too.
A hill of geese. One stopped and wanted his picture taken.A cloudy morning but still a beautiful sky.

Remember me mentioning that I bought raspberry chocolate chips from Ann's House of Nuts? Well, today I made Raspberry Chocolate Chip Cookies. I had to taste one and it was oh so good. I can't wait to try the mint chips next. I'll wait until the raspberry ones are gone. I still have some of the white chocolate chip cookies left.

It was a sunny day but very windy. It's supposed to be bringing some more cold winter weather with it.

Ken is working late tonight so I made Baked Ziti and its sitting in the oven with tin foil over it. When he gets home I'll take off the foil, and turn on the oven. By the time he gets changed supper will be ready. If it gets to be too late I think maybe I'll go ahead and eat. I'm already a bit hungry. :-)

Now I think I'll go and knit awhile.

This weeks seems to moving along fast. Hope your Thursday was a good one.
Happyone :-)

Where do you live? Just the state :-) so you don't think I'm a stalker or something..hehe

Love the quote, so very true. I want to walk like you are able to do...as soon as the weather cooperates, I am going back to it. Tall order for Iowa, but soon.

Happy Friday! :)

Raspberry and chocolate are a great combination, so I can imagine the cookies were delicious.
Like your quote today.
Have a nice weekend.
