Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A video, yarn and books

Another chilly morning with lots of sunshine again. I walked around the neighborhoods and on a couple of paths. Saw at least a dozen deer, one almost got hit by a car!
Here's a short video as I walk down one of the paths.
On the video I mentioned a little stream. Though you can't see it, there really is a stream down there.
This morning I walked 6 miles which for me was 12,315 steps.

I went out today and did a few errands around town. Dropped a book and a DVD off at the library and picked up another DVD and three more books.
I went to Joanne's and Michaels and bought these few goodies. The two skeins of pink yarn are for the socks I'm going to try to knit.

I've found another television show from Netflix that I like. It's called Lie to Me which I watched this evening.

Finished reading another book in the cat series by Lilian Jackson Braun called The Cat Who Talked to Ghosts. This is book number 11 in the series and I enjoyed it like all the other ones. (Two of the books I got from the library are next in the series.)

I'm not sure what I'll do with the rest of the evening. I'll probably read.

I hope your Thursday was a happy day for you.
Karen :-)
