A few runners were out and a few their walking dogs. A couple of deer about and LOTS of squirrels today.
I took 12,345 steps on my walk.
A picture taken while walking down one of the many roads I walked today.

Ken and I spent the day together. We did various errands around town and then went to the movies and saw Where the Wild Things Are. I wanted to see it because one person I know thought it was one of the best movies they ever saw and the other thought it was one of the worst. We think its somewhere in the middle. It was okay.We went to the early showing at 12:10 so we had a late lunch afterwards. A few more errands, the last one was stopping at Weis and getting some long over due ice cream. :-)
It was another one of those dreary cloudy misty days all day. They are promising sunshine tomorrow with temperatures in the 60's. We can only hope.
I hope your Saturday so far has been a good one.
Karen :-)

You had a very nice day. We have just been watching football all day. I made homemade chicken and dumpings . My dumpings turned out bad but the chicken and broth are great so tomorrow I will got get some noodles to add to it. Hope that is good.
Stayed around the house today -- blogged, read and did a crossword. If you ever wonder where all of Columbia is on a Saturday evening around 4:30 -- the answer is at Costco!! We went there tonight and then to Mama Lucia's for dinner.
Looks like you still have some fall colors remaining. That's a nice view down the road.
Sounds like a fun day! Hubby & I don't go to the movies often....but I am hoping to see 2012 in the next few weeks.
I'm a bit behind on my blog reading. I hope that by now you have seen the sun's return. We had a gorgeous weekend of sun and warm temps. So welcome after last weeks gloom and rain.
I had never heard of that type of dog before either. So nice of you to make it easy for me to learn more about it.
Pretty picture from your walk. I like the fall colors.
Have a great week.
Had never heard of that kind of dog and looked it up. Interesting. Herding dogs are so intelligent! Love the Mandela quote at the end of your entry. I always find your blog inspiring. Thanks!
