I did my usual morning routine around the house.
The day continued to get warmer with lots of sunshine and blue skies. It was like a touch of summer again. I sat out on the deck in the afternoon and read.
I took a break to take a few pictures.
A couple of creatures shared the deck with me.
Wednesday has rolled around again and I went to my knitting group. I worked on the baby blanket for a couple of rows and then stopped to have some supper. A delicious salad this week - Asian Sesame Chicken.Back to knitting and this time started a dish cloth and got about half of it done. I've met a lot of people at this knitting group and though I really enjoy it and everyone is very nice, I haven't really clicked with anyone until tonight when I met Terri. Nice to make a new friend. :-)
So here I am back home. I ate the last 4 chocolate chip cookie while watching television and when I am finished here I will read until I get too tired to keep my eyes open.
I hope all is well in your part of the world and that your Wednesday was a happy one.
Karen :-)

Hi Karen...
The thought that you have mentioned at the end is really true..... I am lucky to have really good friends....
The trees in your area are starting to look very pretty. I like your pic of the ladybug. The stink bug ~ not so much. I went for a long walk yesterday with Peanut. We had beautiful weather and it was so nice to be out enjoying the blue skies and fresh air.
Thanks for your recent comments on my mom.
The stink bugs have been disgusting this year!!! They were accidentally 'introduced' to central PA from China in 1992 -- have no natural predators and are a nuisance.
I think it's the good name for those bugs. Good macro.
Do stink bugs stink? I don't think we have them here - at least I've never heard of them here. I'm slowly acceting that summer is over - or more like being forced to by the sun setting at 6:30! - bleh! - We're all doing good - I plan to start postng again but thought I'd start by catching up with everyone! Hoe all is well with you & yours!
I love the color of the two trees in your first photo. Absolutely gorgeous.
Glad you had a pretty day. Your trees are so colorful.
Funny you should mention the ladybugs. We have them all over the side of our house, too. Must be a bumper crop this year. As well, I had a stink bug on my window. Except I didn't know that's what it was until I saw your photo!
Lots of truth to your quote today.
Oh man, I hate stink bugs. I had a little fiasco with one last week or so, I was about to go to bed and I found one. Cat didn't do much to help kill it, but I managed.
Your trees are so pretty ..ours are just now getting some color..just a few more days an they should be in peak form...finally! LOL!
