Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside.

Enjoy Life
Philip Parham tells the story of a rich industrialist who was disturbed to find a fisherman sitting lazily beside his boat. "Why aren't you out there fishing?" he asked.
"Because I've caught enough fish for today," said the fisherman.
"Why don't you catch more fish than you need?" the rich man asked.
"What would I do with them?"
"You could earn more money," came the impatient reply, "and buy a better boat so you could go deeper and catch more fish. You could purchase nylon nets, catch even more fish, and make more money. Soon you'd have a fleet of boats and be rich like me."
The fisherman asked, "Then what would I do?"
"You could sit down and enjoy life," said the industrialist.
"What do you think I'm doing now?" the fisherman replied as he looked placidly out to sea.
Some people are so busy preparing for a rainy day that they miss God's sunshine.
Luke 12:15
Beware! Don't always be wishing for what you don't have. For real life and real living are not related to how rich we are.
Happy Sunday!
Enjoy your day.
Karen :-)

Very nice!
What a wonderful story and what a great lesson. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I've always liked this parable, Karen. It us so true that many miss life's true riches by pursuing the wrong things and missing what they already have,
I can't get over how pretty your blog header photo is! I love the reflection of the trees in the lake.
