Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A beautiful sunny

morning walk around the lake. Here are just a few of the pictures I took this morning.
The lake early in the morning. Can you spot the family of geese?
Some really big leaves!!
Something you don't see every day. :-) You can see my shadow of me taking the picture. When I saw him coming down the path I held up my camera and asked, "Do you mind?" He said no and slowed down for the picture.
Another family of geese down at the other end of the lake.
I thought this was so pretty with the sun rays shining through the trees.
I thank you God for this beautiful place for me to enjoy my walk each morning!

I haven't seen a unicycle in ages. I'm glad you captured one. The sun rays in the last picture are absolutely gorgeous. What a great capture!

Nice that he slowed down so you could take the photo! We're headed over there this afternoon with the grand kids! Should be really crowded today with the nice weather.

What were those giant leaves...mutant rhubarb? :D

He's a brave soul on the unicycle, and no knee pads!

Love your sun rays shining through the trees. You should consider framing it to hang in your home. It gives a peaceful feeling.

So nice, so peaceful!
the geese are such great parents, always flanking their goslings, always on alert.

You were meant to move to your new house so you'd have these wonderful new places to walk and explore.
