Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tonight's Moon

I just took these two pictures of the moon and thought I would post them right away.
This one in the front of my house.
This one in the back yard through the trees.

We're at Sherwood, and just came outside to check out the moon. From the porch I could tell that it was bright, but what a nice surprise to see that's it's full and cloudless. I wish I knew the planets that are visible. That's one thing I miss about my ex. He knew them all.

Why do you have word verification? I just don't like it but it's your blog, so of course, your prerogative.

cheryl - I have been getting LOTS of spam (maybe because the blog is new) and thought the word verification would iliminate that. I'll turn it off again in a couple of days.

Too much cloud cover for moon watching last night, but I enjoyed seeing your pics.

Spam? I've been getting a ton of it lately, too. And sitemeter is loaded with gobbledy gook from strange places. Hmmmm...

The moon has been so beautiful the past few nights! I love how you captured it thru the tree branches!!

I haven't gotten any spam, but I'd try to block it too if I were getting it. Pretty cool that we saw the same moon last night. That's a happy thought.
