I walked the farm loop, the two cemeteries and the loop behind the ball park. That is my main route and the one I walk most often.
I saw a lot of crows. They are hard to get close enough to take pictures of because they fly away as soon as they see me. Lots of geese still around too on the little pond down by the Drane house. I didn't walk down there today but I could see them all from the road by the school.
A quiet morning - didn't see anyone else out.
I walked 6.4 miles - 12,614 steps.

I washed the big picture window in the library. The sun was shining in which made it look all streaky. I washed it when the sun wasn't there any more. After washing it, you can hardly tell a window is there. I'll have to see how good a job I've done tomorrow morning when the sun is shining in again. : )Ken went up to Happy Trails after lunch. I though about going too but then decided to stay home.
I spent most of the afternoon doing my counted cross stitch so I had a nice relaxing afternoon.
Tonight was a quick and easy supper of hot dogs and baked beans.
We enjoyed our last piece of cheese cake last evening, so tonight it's back to ice cream.
Hope your Friday was a happy one.

Do not indulge in dreams of having what you have not,
but reckon up the chief of the blessings you do possess,
and then thankfully remember
how you would crave for them
if they were not yours.

Comment replies:Nellie - Rain boots would be nice but I need my walking shoes for my walks. Those pretty rain boots just don't make it for long walks. I've been thinking about seeing if I could find some rubbers. Remember those things that just slipped on over your shoes? They would work. I wonder if they even make them anymore.
Deb - I'm reading The House of Velvet and Glass by Katherine Howe and I think I'll go and read some of it now.
