I usually post a Bible verse on Sunday
but today I'm posting the words of a hymn
that you don't very often hear.
There's A Wideness
by Frederick W Faber
There's a wideness in God's mercy,
Like the wideness of the sea;
There's a kindness in His Justice,
Which is more than liberty.
There is welcome for the sinner,
And more graces for the good;
There is mercy with the Savior;
There is healing in His blood.
For the love of God is broader
Than the measure of man's mind;
And the heart of the Eternal
Is most wonderfully kind.
If our love were but more simple,
We should take Him at His word,
And our lives would all be sunshine
In the sweetness of our Lord.
God loves you and wants you to be happy! Have a blessed Sunday and enjoy your day!

Isn't that a great old hymn! I've never heard it before, but will look for it in my hymnbooks now.
Have a great Sunday!
I've never heard it either but it sounds really good. Hope you have a nice day. It's so foggy here you could cut it with a knife.
Thanks for posting the hymn -- it's been a long time since I've heard it.
