walking in town, but down in the basement for me again.
I'm beginning to feel that I'll never get to walk in town again!
So this morning got a bunch more house work done.
Doing some extra cleaning that doesn't get done every week.
After lunch we went back to the library and got a couple DVD's and books.
I picked up the book club book for March.
The Glass Maker by Tracy Chevalier.
Will be reading two other books before I get to that one though.
That's it for today.
Just my usual afternoon.
Nothing exciting but a most enjoyable day.
Happy Tuesday and thanks for stopping by.
🙂HappyK❤️
No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn.
Hal Borland

...yep, it's cold and Hal Borland is spot on!
ReplyDeleteLove the quote at the end! No spring skips its turn! xx
ReplyDeleteIt was 2 degrees this morning. The Polar Vortex has returned once again. They even warned us not to let our pets out by themselves now and we have a snow dog. We take him out on a leash now because it made us nervous. Janice
ReplyDeleteHi Karen. Wow - it sure is cold where you are. It's not that cold here, although we are supposed to get more snow tomorrow. I hope things warm up so you can walk outside again soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty blue sky that is. It's been very cold here also. I haven't left the house in the last 6 days.
ReplyDeleteThe Glass Maker sounds so good. and it is very highly rated on Amazon.
ReplyDelete4 degrees is a little too cold for my blood.
ReplyDeleteIs that the coldest temperature you’ve ever experienced? At least you keep positive because the seasons are something we have no control over so we might as well embrace it, the best we can. (I know easy for me to say that.)
We have minus 11 degrees Celsius and a brilliant blue sky, it's beautiful outside with the snow. It will be warmer at the weekend and by next week winter will probably say goodbye with temperatures of up to 10 degrees plus.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a nice Wednesday. Have fun reading.
Pretty sky! It is super cold here, I took the dog for a brisk walk.
ReplyDeleteI am ready for Spring now. Take care, have a wonderful day!
Winter goes on and on this year.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
the wind is a problem for me, temps are not even in the 20's here in sc PA;( no walking 4 miles either for me.
ReplyDeleteBefore you know it, you'll be out walking in town again. Brrr....in the meantime. I have a form of that quote on a sweet plaque with snow and birds. Happy Wednesday to you.
ReplyDeleteWith such cold weather for home and reading!!
ReplyDeleteRaining here again, stayed in and read.
ReplyDeleteLike the Hal Borland quote puts it: No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn.
ReplyDeleteSince you're down in the basement we need some more train photos!
ReplyDeleteCold and snowy here in KY as well. It sounds like a great day :)
ReplyDeleteWe have had a warm up here for two days, but that is ending.
