Morning Skies and a poem

 Happy Sunday

Each day I read a page in the Baptist Bread devotional.

This poem was in it yesterday.

Trust Him and Be Patient

God, I know You're not in a hurry,

Your plans for me are on time.

You need no schedule of reminders,

For I'm always on Your mind.

I know You have drawn a mosaic,

And You're fitting each tile in place.

As I continue to follow Your plan,

Help me not to hurry or race.

Waiting is so often difficult,

And, patience I don't easily learn;

But to have my life be more Christ-like,

Is for what I seek and yearn.

So, as my life's pattern continues,

And the next part begins to unfold,

It's You I'm trusting and praising,

It's Your hand I cling to and hold.
