Wednesday

A cloudy morning today for walking and a five minute
very light rain shower.
It was 58 degrees and calm.
Sunrise 7:00

On the way to town I'm pretty sure I saw a couple of minks
run across the road.
Can't think what else they could have been.
Have seen a mink here before but not for a long time.

Walked first up and down the main street in town with
a stop off at the library.

Then continued to the ball park, around there
and ended by walking around both of the cemeteries a couple of times.

Nothing going on around town and
didn't see anyone else around this morning.

☁️    🥾    🍁

Have quite a bit of rhubarb in the freezer yet from when I was
given a bunch of it from a friend.

We stopped in at the library to pick up a couple more books.
2 for Ken and 2 for me.
One of my books is The 39 Steps by John Buchan.
Looking forward to seeing how different it is from the two movies.

After supper of meatloaf, (which is in the oven) mashed potatoes, and broccoli
I'll be heading off to church.
Looking forward to having some of the Rhubarb Cobbler
with some vanilla ice cream for my snack when I get home.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you had a fantastic Wednesday.

Deb- No, not making a blanket to match the pillow.  We still make some baby blankets, but now also make blankets and pillows for the area nursing homes.

  5. Ahh, meatloaf sure sounds good. Love the aroma of a meatloaf in the oven. Wow a mink? I know we have them in the Central Valley and delta areas but not here. The only mustelids we have in Shasta is the weasel, the marten and the river otter. Interesting little creatures.

  7. Hi Karen! Meatloaf sounds good. I should put that back on the menu some time soon. I love that quote at the end of your post. It's so appropriate with everything going on in our nation right now. Have a good Thursday. See you then.
