62 degrees this morning and cloudy for my morning walk.
Sunrise 6:33
Walked first around both of the cemeteries.
turned around and walked back to town.
Continued walking through town
and up and down the side streets.
Not much happening around town.
Seemed like a Sunday!!
On the way home I saw a whole bunch of Goldfinches when
I turned in at my road.
☁️ 🌻 🚶♀️
Time to get the oil changed on the Jeep.
We usually go to the garage/dealer right in town
but this time just went to JiffyLube
which is just past Walmart.
We were in and out in about 15 minutes.
Nice just pulling in and getting it done without having to drop
the car off and then pick it up again.
From there we went food shopping at Walmart.
Didn't need much so were in and out there fast too.
Home to get a few more things done around the house.
Blankets for Babies is this Thursday and there was no one
had volunteered to do the devotions yet so I said I would.
I spent some time today getting that ready.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your Tuesday was a great one.

A vigorous five-mile walk will do more good for an unhappy but otherwise healthy adult than all the medicine and psychology in the world.

Your town does look quiet.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see those Goldfinches.
Enjoy the remainder of your Tuesday.
All the best Jan
How nice to have a quiet walk, Karen. The goldfinch sighting sounds glorious.
ReplyDelete...farmers are making hay while the sun shines!
ReplyDeleteNice hay shot! I like your quiet streets too.
ReplyDeleteIt was a cool start to your day.

That is so true!
The town sure looks quiet. I like that quote!
ReplyDeleteImagine if the whole world took the time for a 5-mile walk? People would be happier.
ReplyDeleteIt does look quiet, but don't you love it?!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more with today's quote.
ReplyDeleteTen un lindo martes. te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, The hay wrapped up in those white tarps looks a little like giant cigarettes. It's nice you volunteered to do the develotional at Blankets for Babies. I hope you have a great Wednesday. See you then!
ReplyDeleteI love how each house is different in town!
ReplyDeleteDoes your town have any small businesses or just houses? Remined me of a small town I sometimes go through near my mom's house. Janice
ReplyDeleteThat looks like quite a hill you had to walk up in town. The house on the left reminds me of one of the buildings here in town. It has that same look at the top.
ReplyDeleteThose are very big cigarettes in the first photo.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Nice walk and photos. I have been hearing Goldfinches on my walks too. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful town you have, HappyK. I so wish I could walk but...my knees are absolutely shot! The rest of my body isn't much better. Osteoarthritis, bone-on-bone knee joints, ugh! But I sure do enjoy taking walks with you every morning, via your blog. Thank you for dragging this ole body along with you. :-) Love, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteI think the one sharing a devotional will get the most out of it because of their studies. :) Happy Wednesday to you.
ReplyDeleteNice town to walk through!
ReplyDeleteThe quote at the end is so true...it's the movement that gets our bodies stimulated. I'm certainly not up to 5 miles, but I can definitely tell the difference when I don't go out and walk a little.
ReplyDeleteI got a lot of walking in yesterday.
