This morning there was a mix of sun and clouds when I walked.
The temperature was 63 degrees and calm.
Today I saw Lena walking and we stopped to talk and
later saw Sheila run past me.
I first walked around the lower cemetery and then up to
the other cemetery.
I walk up the hill with corn growing on both sides.
Walked around town and then around the ball park loop.
The pickle ball court is still not ready for playing.
They have now painted blue and green over the red that it was painted.
Still needs the lines and a net.
Continued walking around town some more and past my old house.
Through town and down toward home before turning around and
getting back to the pond.
I spotted an old porch swing in all these weeds.
Some pretty red petunias by a mailbox I walked passed.
It must make Tonya, the letter carrier smile each day.
Another delightful walk.
🌤 🌻 🚶♀️
It's Saturday again and time for some needlework to get done
at the library.
Four of us regulars were there and we had two more people
join us this time who said they would be back next week.
Our little group keeps getting bigger.
If everyone shows up one week we might run out of chairs.🙂
Today we didn't just have a sunny afternoon but a whole day of sunshine.
Another afternoon to sit out on the front porch.
That's all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your Saturday was a happy one.

Amen to Joni’s quote.
ReplyDeleteThe red petunias are so pretty and bright. Love that first photo. It’s getting dark earlier here.
...someone has taken wonderful care of that hanging basket.
ReplyDeleteSeeing the title of this blog post made me think of the Johnny Nash song which has those words in it ...
ReplyDeleteThe petunias in that hanging basket are beautiful.
All the best Jan
What a lovely start to your day.

ReplyDeleteI'm seeing some cat tails around here too, I always enjoy them
ReplyDeleteThe petunias are beautiful!
Good quote from Joni, something to strive for.
If the pickle ball court is going to be used this year yet then hopefully those last details will be added soon.
ReplyDeleteThose red petunias sure are a splash of colour💗.
A great day of sunshine. The petunias are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSunny days are the best! Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteGod bless always, K.
ReplyDeleteThat hanging basket on the mailbox post is gorgeous. That would make me smile for sure. I like that quote.
ReplyDeleteWe had a nice day here too, a little hot. The basket of flowers is gorgeous. Take care, Happy Sunday! Have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see cattails growing somewhere. Around here the phragmites have chocked them out. It is an invasive weed that came over from another country that is spreading like wildfire and out of control. Janice
ReplyDeleteI'm not the only one who is impressed with the hanging basket. So pretty.
