Not feeling tip top today and skipped my morning walk.
I just have a cold and hopefully I'll feel good again in a couple of days.
I can't remember the last time I had a cold.
Ken went to Fingerprints alone.
I really wanted to go but didn't want to give anyone my cold.
Also I would have been exhausted at the end of the day.
By late morning I got tired of sitting around the house.
It was a nice sunny day and 67 degrees so decided to go to town
for a short walk.
The bulls must have been warm because they were under the tree in the shade.
After only walking 5 thousand steps I was getting tired
so headed back to the Jeep.
Stopped here by the lake to listen to the church bells play a couple of hymns.
Every day at 12:00 that happens.
Came home, had some lunch and now I'm just going to take it easy
this afternoon.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks. for the well wishes.
❤️ HappyK 🤗
Beautiful photos, dear Karen! Yes, rest is good to help combat a cold. My mother always used to make chicken soup and this helped me a lot in clearing the mucus membranes and stuffiness, plus of course it was delicious.
ReplyDeleteTake good care of yourself.
I love the photo of the bulls.
ReplyDeleteOur daughter has a church down the road from her and they play hymns on the bells at 12pm and 6 pm. I always enjoy hearing them.
Praying you feel better soon!
The bulls gathered for their photo. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better. I was not feeling the best myself this morning either. Janice
ReplyDeleteI don’t get many colds either. All those years with babies and toddlers, I built up some strong immunities. Someone didn’t stay home or else you wouldn’t have received their gift.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon. Here is some soup! 🍵
ReplyDeleteI love that the church bells play at noon! I sure hope you get better real quick!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the sound of church bells! So sorry about your cold, that is miserable. I am impressed that you managed to walk at all. It makes me so mad when people attend events when they are sick, so you are doing something that I think is so important!
ReplyDeletePrayers for a quick recovery ❤️
ReplyDeleteLovely photographs, that sky looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteTake things a little easier and get over your cold.
All the best Jan
