Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

No more Internet troubles 😊

🍄     🍄     🍄
Went to bed late last night around 1:30 so didn't wake up till 7:30.
Was up and out the door at 7:50.
It wasn't dark.  😊
The temperature was 56 with clouds and sun.
After a couple of miles the clouds took over and I walked in a very
light misty rain for the last two miles.

Walked the streets behind my house.
Down the main road and back in town, around both cemeteries and the
ball park loop a couple of times.
Walking past the day care center in town here.
The heron was over by the town pond and I watched him fly off
as I walked past.

No people out walking or running.  Thought I might see some different
people out since I walked at a later time.

Walked 6.2 miles

Here's the latest pictures of the house from the end of the day yesterday.
No more work will get done till Monday because Ronnie is out of town for
the next couple of days.

We went out and did a few errands one of which was food shopping
at Walmart.

We also stopped in at the US Cellular store.
As you know we have been having a LOT of trouble with our Internet.
We have cancelled our Comcast account and now have our Internet with
US Cellular.  We have our phones with them and have now gotten
a wireless router and it is working great.
We will also be able to take
it with us when we move up to HT.
The young woman who helped us was very helpful and friendly.
She made everything easy for us.
Hopefully we will have no more Internet troubles.

I've been knitting.
I'm making a blanket for myself for those cold evenings coming this winter
while watching television and eating my ice cream.
Never too cold for ice cream.🍦
The yarn is a pink cotton and half way done I ran out of yarn and
couldn't find any more of the pink color.
I had some teal cotton yarn and I'm using that.
Not such a great combination but it is just for me and will keep me warm.

Here's the latest wash/dish cloths I've knitted.

Well that's it for today.
Sure is nice to have reliable Internet once again.

A smile from me to you.

I hope your internet troubles are solved! We live in a very rural area and only have one choice, sadly!

The roads seem very quiet which must be nice for your walks. Those autumn leaves are lovely & falling fast!

Hello, I would be lost without me internet. I am glad it is working now. The dishclothes are pretty. Lovely fall colors on the trees. We use the satellite Directv for our tv's and Comcast for the internet. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!

I love looking at the photos from your walks . . . And the colors of Autumn are showing up everywhere. What a beautiful area you live in. I love the way the sun is turning that corn field to pure gold . . . so pretty. The rate that your home is going, I can see you cooking a turkey in your kitchen for Thanksgiving :) You picked such a lovely spot surrounded by all those trees . . . you'll have a choir of bird songs all summer. Have a wonderful weekend.

Glad to hear your internet is working great. Its nice when customer service will listen and help. Your pot holders look great. Im working on a baby blanket now. Just for fun. Something about being curled up in the chair crocheting or knitting with a bowl of ice Cream.
