Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Bible verse for August

This months Bible verse we are trying to memorize at church is:

II Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed
rightly dividing the word of truth.

This verse is one I learned many years ago when I was young.
I seem to be able to remember the verses I learned as a kid so much
better than the ones I try to learn now.

⛪     ⛪

On my walk this morning I spotted these two fawns.
Didn't see their mother anywhere around.

A Blessed Sunday to you.
Jesus Love You.

John - Wrapped rolls of hay are quite common around here.  Some farmers don't wrap them and others still have the rectangular bales of hay.
Yes, the daisies are in my garden.
Thank you for your kind words. 😊

I find it harder to remember things now, not even new things. Fawns are a beautiful sight xx

That's a great verse to remember. I'm not very good at memorizing now but like you
, I do remember some from childhood. One I learned when taking swimming lessons at about age 7. Psalms 56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. I was so afraid of jumping off the diving board but I made it!

Sweet fawns. I, too, find it easier to recite the verses I learned during my childhood and they were all memorized in the King James Version. Happy Sunday to you!

I am relieved to hear that I am not the only one that has trouble memorizing. What is worse, I have a hard time focusing on what I read sometimes if there is much to it. I can read books, but to from blog to blog, sometimes I just cannot focus.

Beautiful shot of the fawns.
